Since WRM hasn't been on for a while..

..I can make a thread about Fugazi. So I just popped in In on the Kill Taker awhile ago after a few months of letting it collect dust in the shelf and it sounds better than ever. Discuss how much they rule. And you can talk about Nation of Ulysses too.

Daniel! 10-22-2005 06:11 PM

Amazing band. I need to get some more of their albums. I only have 3 right now.

Glitterati 10-22-2005 06:50 PM

I've been really into Fugazi lately, even though I only have 13 Songs. My favorite song is Give Me The Cure.

I wouldn't even know what to classify them as, it's like they're their own genre.

BillCosby 10-22-2005 06:55 PM

FUGAZI are awesome.

br3ad_man 10-22-2005 08:32 PM

The_Passenger 10-23-2005 02:10 AM

I like Fugazi a lot. As is predictable, my favourite album is 13 Songs, but all of the band's albums are a least OK.

Dog 10-23-2005 02:54 PM

Steady Diet Of Nothing is where it's at. I haven't heard a Fugazi album I don't like. Solid stuff.

pixiesfanyo 10-23-2005 03:14 PM

Argument is my favorite.

Fugazi is pretty much the coolest.

Zappa 10-23-2005 04:00 PM

Never could fall in love with this band. Do I think they're alright? Sure.

Happymeal 10-23-2005 04:24 PM

What I don't get is the appeal of Rites of Spring. They're influential and all but I honestly don't find them very enjoyable.

Zappa 10-23-2005 05:40 PM

I think I might like RoS better than Fugazi.

Happymeal 10-23-2005 05:52 PM

I think you'll like them and Embrace a lot.

Zappa 10-23-2005 06:09 PM

I've heard RoS. They're pretty sweet. They're basically Minor Threat.
I think I might like RoS better than Fugazi.
Same here.

pikester 10-23-2005 07:22 PM

Fugazi > Music > Not Fugazi.

Happymeal 10-23-2005 07:37 PM

Eh, maybe they'll just grow on me after a while.

Luxor 10-24-2005 07:16 PM

I'm gonna throw a big "meh" at this entire thread.

Fugazi = meh
Rites Of Spring = meh
Minor Threat = meh
Nation of Ulysses = meh

I don't dislike any of the bands, but they're not all that appealing either.

The NPC 10-24-2005 07:19 PM

NoU > RoS/Fugazi > Minor Threat > Embrace > One Last Wish > Happy Go Licky

Zappa 10-24-2005 07:24 PM

I guess I ought to hear Nation of Ulysses.

The NPC 10-24-2005 07:26 PM
I guess I ought to hear Nation of Ulysses.
They're a fun band.

bassisfun 10-24-2005 07:29 PM

italic zero 10-24-2005 07:47 PM

I love Joe Lally so much.

Glitterati 10-24-2005 07:49 PM
I've heard RoS. They're pretty sweet. They're basically Minor Threat.
I need to get into Rites Of Spring....I'm on an old-school emo kick lately, and Sunny Day Real Estate alone cannot keep me satisfied in my emo quest.

Luxor 10-24-2005 08:59 PM

Sunny Day Real Estate aint no old school emo.

Zmev 10-24-2005 10:40 PM

Or emo at all.

The NPC 10-25-2005 09:30 AM

\m/ One Last Wish \m/

Anxious 10-25-2005 04:06 PM

RoS>NoU>Minor Threat>Embrace>Fugazi

Its a shame RoS only lasted for short time.
