Christ, MLIW is overrated and only OK, half the people on here say they're "amazing" just to be cool. I'm not saying I don't like them, but I'm sick of hearing that they're the best band in hardcore because they're not.

I like GIA a lot more than MLIW. But I do like MLIW a lot.

Are you kidding me Pat? If I wanted to be Shane I would say that I loved Adora and that Bane sucks, MLIW isn't that great and they're getting whored so much, it's a trend to say that they're "amazing".

But people freak out about them sometimes like they're the most creative and innovative band around. I'm not bagging on you or anything, I'm just talking about people in general.

mliw aren't the most creative band around...they dont do anything groundbreaking, they just have great lyrics and this really cool atmosphere in their music.

I really never see "whoring" of MLIW around here, except in like favorite hardcore bands threads where just as many people list GIA as MLIW.

to be honest I never really paid attention to GIA's lyrics so that's probably a part of my not liking them as much.
