Pics of my Bass

Hello everyone,

I finally got around to getting pictures of my bass so here they are.
Sorry 'bout the bad quality (disposable cameras suck) but they will
have to do for now.

Edit: It is a Warwick Bleach Blonde Thumb btw. :thumb:

thelowsoundofbass 09-03-2005 03:16 PM

Ahh, yes it is. I should've said so right off the bat... Edit time!

To Lowsound: My amp is great, except I seem to be having a bit of trouble with it cutting out when I'm playing. I'm not really knowledgeable when it comes to fixing amps so any advice on why its doing that and what I can do to fix it would be great. :thumb:

That is a beautiful looking Thumb! I like the grain of the wood.
To be honest, I actually didn't like how the Thumbs looked for a long time but then I played one and they kinda grew on me.

Deacy 09-03-2005 04:37 PM

The Bleach Blonde Thumb is probably the sexiest Warwick, besides the Buzzard >_>

FoX74B 09-03-2005 04:38 PM

I actually bought it in January 2004. I finally just got around to posting up the pictures...

blizzard 09-03-2005 04:56 PM

That is an awesome Warwick. I don't normally like the look of thumbs but that is really secksy.

Jamie 09-03-2005 05:06 PM

Beautiful!! :D

I really want a Warwick.. they are totally different to any bass i've played before.. (in a good way!)

fathergoat 09-03-2005 05:21 PM

Nice, that is really nice. I am going to have to play a thumb sometime :thumb:

Shyanel 09-03-2005 05:31 PM

I played on the exact same on Tuesday, nice bass. Not as nice as the corvette in the same finish with the humbucker and tilted j config, but still really purdy.

Kroy 12-04-2005 04:06 AM

I've played a couple Thumbs and I loved the sound but didn't care for the concave body. At least, not to that extent. I played a few corvettes but didn't like the tone as much. I recently played a Dolphin SN and I think I'm gonna save my pennies and go for one of those. Plus the body is completely whack, which is just an added bonus for me.

Chris K 12-04-2005 04:26 AM

I see people complain about the Thumb's concaved body and just think "what the fuck?". It's designed to make the bass more comfortable to play, it's meant to be worn high. I guess a lot of slack assed, slack strapped lady boys might like playing it round their ankles though....

kilian 12-04-2005 05:09 AM

Actually.. it looks pretty good in this blonde finish :amaze:

For some the concave isn't comfortable...

everyone of those books there (except whatever is on the GK) including that issue of bass player- i have. Good reading. Actually i was rereading that issue last week.

tenorbass 12-04-2005 04:55 PM

nice man! how does it look with the wax? does it make it shine more or make the wood look deeper?

Worrpigs 12-04-2005 04:57 PM

did nobody realize this is 3 months old? please dont bump old threads.

lemoley 12-04-2005 05:41 PM

Mr. Pickle 12-04-2005 05:47 PM

i love when people setup their pictures like that and just try to pretend thats how it was.
