What does everybody think of AFI? personally i think they're best thing thats happened to punk (if you would call them punk now) Davey's vocals mixed with the bands riffs and beats is just musical bliss.. what do you guys think?

don't really like 'em, i own the art of drowning and sing the sorrow
the art of drowning is good, but not great and sing the sorrow is not my cup of coffee

I really loved Black Sails in the Sunset. Although I tried, I couldn't get into anything else.

i really like them, i especially like the range of Davy's voice. it changes so quickly. i havnt got any of their albums but i intend to get one or two, can you reccomend any?

They're awesome. Listening to their cover of Halloween now.

They are my favorite band...But Dustin is probably the biggest AFI fan on here. Anyways, my favorite album is Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes.

i love old afi. black sails on the sunset, shut your mouth and open your eyes and all hallows e.p are all amazing. but new afi is garbage, i think

Black Sails and Very Proud of Ya are my favorites. Their new stuff isn't as good but isn't terrible. My band sounds alot like them :).

Grew lout of them a lot about a year and a half ago, the only stuff i quite like by them now is the All Hallows EP, along with about two songs of the Art Of Drowning

They're boring now.

afi was my favorite band for like a year. i still like them to this day. its wierd though, because even though they have changed SO much from answer that... to now, i like all of there cds.

I love sing the sorrow. I borrowed it from a mate when it first came out and wasn't that impressed. I never gave it back to my mate and found it a couple of months ago, gave it another few listens and now I absolutely love it!!! It’s a quality album! He ain't never getting it back from me now!!! :evil:

They were okay/good til they sold out.

And by 'sold out' I mean changed their sound to get on MTV, made music videos, signed a major label for money and raised ticket prices for their shows.

One of my favorite bands. Their first 3 albums were great. Though a lot of people hate Sing The Sorrow, I think it's a really good album.

They are ok, I have heard some of their stuff and I don't like them a whole heap i just think they are ok.

It took me a long time to like this band, But now i enjoy every song of theres. Black sails in the sunset, Sing the sorrow , Are my favorites by them.

I remember El_Shizzy did a excellent AFI thread a while ago.

Don't care what anyone says, Sing The Sorrow was such an awesome cd.

Sing the sorrow differed from there old stuff, But i really like that cd.

id admit i dont like it compared to what they used to be, but they grew a lot musically and i still like them. Very Proud Of Ya is by far my favorite album, with file 13 the number one song.

This is my brothers absolute favorite band. I like them pretty well. Their Misfits covers are always pretty good,too.

The Secret Ninja is my all time favorite from Very Proud Of Ya.

That's probably my all time favorite by them.

Art of Drowning is one of my favourite punk albums. Not a bad song there.

I think they are incredibly consistent, all their albums are excellent.
