To start the ball rolling I guess..

My name is Jezen Thomas, im 14, im from London but I have lived in Sydney for 7 years. Im moving back to England this coming Saturday..
I have been playing for about 2 and a half years. I listen to Tool, Korn, Dream Theatre, and sometimes some other random jazz music with like Vinnie Colaiuta in it or something.
My idol is Jojo Mayer, and hes just a legend. Umm..I enjoy skateboarding, girls, ice-cream, kit drumming, and hand drumming.
Thats about it I suppose. i hope this is what you inted us to do...

Hi, I'm Will Hendrix, I'm 16, and I'm from Maryland (US). I've been playing for 3 1/2 years, and I mainly listen to metal, with some slight interests in jazz, and some chill out stuff. My favorite bands are Opeth, Nile, Sepultura, Dredg, Miles Davis, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Mayhem, Suffocation, etc,etc. Some of my favorite drummers are Igor Cavalera, John Bonham, Hellhammer, Mike Smith, Tony Laureano, Mitch Mitchell, Bill Ward, Martin Lopez, Micheal Zerang, and many others.

Question:..Can other people from other forums talk in here?

I have played soccer for like 6 years and been on many State teams and won State once. I play guitar but have been really busy lately because School tryouts for soccer have been held lately. Well this is some about me, oh Yeah and I'm 15.

Name's Ron Cheung, 14 years old turning 15 this August and i have a nice comfortable life. I enjoy paint balling, drumming, basketball, and music in general. I also play other instruments like Piano, Keyboards, Mallet Percussion, and Clarinet. I would like to learn bass and play in a band.

Well I'm Derek (or Dez), I play drums and sing backing vocals in a band called NextDoorNikki. I live in scotland, have ginger hair, wear a kilt and play bagpipes on a regular basis... Ok, so I was joking: I have blonde hair and play drums on a regular basis. I'm at university studying BioChemistry but I'm more interested in band work.

anyway I jam on my first set still, a beat up run down starion that has 2 broke bass lugs no floor tom bottem head, rim or tension rods, a pastie 50z china and splash and a crash and ride (no idea what the brand is). hmm what else im 14 (actually 13 but 14 in like 2 weeks) and like jamming with my friend and talkin here.

Hello, my name is Brandon. I live in Louisiana. I am 14 and I am a freshman in high school. I have been playing for roughly six months. I enjoy listening to ska and punk (real punk) for the most part, also worship music, and occasionally hardcore music, because the drumming is usually good. I'm not really into the the lyrics though. I also like to skateboard, mess around on the guitar, make websites occasionally and other random stuff. I make good grades (usually all As) and my life isn't too interesting. I have a really awesome girlfriend though, so that makes it more interesting. I have a fully functional family too.

I'm Spencer Updike(dumb name you say? yes..I'll agree) I'm 17 and I've been playing a little over 2 years. I'm from Minnesota(represent, oh wait...it sucks here) and I listen to all sorts of music from Metal to corny pop music, whatever tickles my fancy at that moment. I play Zildjian/Wuhan cymbals, use/will use all Evans heads, IC Pedals/hihat stand...and just recently I was given employee of the month at my job :lol: :thumb:

I own an electric kit - hart dynamic with roland TD-8 module. Live i play a mix of zildjian and paiste cymbals and a wuhan china, whcih for some reason i had to order from the US.

I read this site a lot, but most of the time i don't have anything worth posting, so i don't post a lot.

^^ dude, i moved from hong kong back to canada. i've been playing for 5 months and im 13. i dont have a kit yet. i am on this site 90% of the time (yes, i have no life).

anyway, im 17 live in england, been playing around 2 years. recently up-graded from a session pro with one tom with no reso and a beat batter to a pdp which i love, i got myself a paiste, meinl hats, stupid lil zildjian zxt trashformer (which i rather like really) a pro sonix crash and another stupid cymbal: meinl splash.

Hey, my name is Alex. I live in Indiana. I am 16 and I am a sophomore. I have been playing for about two years now. I enjoy listening to any type of GENRE except I am not to the likes of Rap of Country. My most influential GENRE of music would be rock. I love Jazz and incorporate a lot of it into my drumming. My favorite drummers are for the most part, Thomas Lang, Mike Portnoy, Matt McDonough, Daney Cary, Buddy Rich, Alan White, Neil Peart, and much more. I love drumming and hope to pursue a career with it. Anyway I love the forums and will continue to post in them for quite some time.
