You write a song using the word and put it in the challenge thread.

In your case, you'll edit the post you already put in there with your song, because I don't want convos in that thread.

BTW, DesolateD Dream, I take it back. You can't enter because you're also Infinatedestiny and I banned you for rigging your votes last thread and posting too much. So too bad.

Also, Infinte Destiny was too stupid to read the rules thread even after I posted a link for him to go straight there.

Subtle: What are you talking about in the Song thread??? Was there a rule brought in, in my absense that dissallowed a 'saving my place' post?? (If so, I'm sorry. I won't do it again). This is what we always used to do, back in the olden days of 2001-2002. I think thats what Runamokrampant and atremore were doing aswell... As long as people don't post more than once in the song thread, I shouldn't think there is a problem.

I always post ONE post in the Song thread where I then write my song. I do this because it forces me to write a song and also puts a black dot on the thread for me, allowing me to see when others post in it... I am always interested to see who I'm up against!

Actually im not the same person as Infinate destiny. im in the same band as him though. which is where i got the band logo. im a guitarist not the singer. well...kind of am...im backing.

It just seems like way too much of a conincedence that Infinte Destiny was banned and then up pops another user straight after he was banned with the same avatar.

Maybe you are a different person. Who knows. I for one, couldn't care less. Its the internet... it doesn't effect my personal life. Just follow the rules and try to use commonsense and everything will be fine. And make sure you don't post more than once in the Song thread or the Voting thread - if you want to ask questions, discuss things or general talk, then make sure you post whatever it is in this thread (Like you have been doing).

If you need to change your song (or when voting comes around, your votes) then make use of the EDIT button on your posts. Otherwise everything becomes way too messy.

o. i think i just clicked about the rigging thing. yer today at college he was askin me y he was banned. I didnt no. yer so i looked at the post and both r exactly the same pretty much apart from the numbers by the side. he actually asked me if he shud post it again because he didnt put numbers by the sides to state what order they were in. The problem wasn't that he re-posted the votes.. The problem was that his votes really gave the impression that he didn't really look at the lyrics very much at all and pretty much just voted 'down the line' just so he could enter the challenge.

People spend alot of time, thought and effort on their votes. Its really crap when someone just gives a score based on what position they posted their lyric in because someone can't be bothered to read them all properly. It just wastes space and peoples energy with votes like that. If you are NOT going to vote properly, with thought and effort, then just don't bother.
