The Most Depressing Songs

I went through a time when I was down and out and I intensified my feelings by listening to depressing music. I was wondering if anyone would like to share some of their "depressing songs." Here are some that I liked:
Nine Inch Nails: Hurt
Smashing Pumpkins: Jellybelly
To Forgive
Galapagos
F*** YOu (An ode to no one)
Soma
(and many more by them)
A Perfect Circle: The Package
The Noose
Radiohead: How to Disappear Completely
Idioteque (Not really depressing, but sounds like he is in anguish, especially when he says "is this really happening"?)
Tool: Sober
Forty-Six and Two
Eulogy
Schism

I usually am not depressed by songs unless there has been some sort of emotional connection made to it.

Jackle Chan da man 11-11-2004 02:35 AM

Metallica's film clip for one is extremely depressing

lost_profits 11-11-2004 02:38 AM

the cure - disintegration or pornography is pretty intense.
robert smith was at the peak of his L.S.D prime during the pornography sessions.
is it any wonder its their best album?

(debatable with disintegration of course)

Pretty much anything from My Dying Bride makes it seem like all hope in the world has been drained away.

Depressing ****, that doom metal.

sickgoregrind 11-11-2004 04:34 AM

I thought no one was going to mention doom metal for a minute!
