I love Blink_182! So here's the deal. i am having a contest to see who can do the best Blink-182 cover. You can cover any song that you want. So have fun a good luck.

And if you win, you get laughed at and disrespected!

They sure as hell did not become rich because of their skill.

They became populare because there songs were either
1)catchy
2)funny
3)easy to relate too (some songs)

ok now then ladies ladies stop your bitching, i agree to both of you guys, yea blink 182 isnt as complex as many of the amazing musicians we love to play and listen to, but who says music has to be complex to be enjoyable? just let them play and listen to what they want, i started off playing blink 182 to start becasue i didnt know anything about guitar. now that im more into guitar i can play much more difficult things such as joe satriani,iron maiden, jason becker. but lets also be realistic here, who says your opinion is the same as someone elses? sure i have listened to blink 182, i have grown out of it, i still respect them though for what they have accomplished, i think many of you are maybe jealous because they made it so big playing simple songs that we all know arent actually musicly hard, what 4-5 chords in a song and a 5 second solo? ooo but think outside the box


basicly what im tryin to say here is this: music is a gift, the fact that we all have been touched in music someway that we get to express ourselfs through playing guitar/bass/drums/any other musical instrument is amazing. so just stop bashing people for having there own thoughts. u may like someone i dont but i certainly wont bash u.. but seriously did it say anywhere in the first post can anyone play blink182 songs because there so HARD?>??? didnt think so, there just fun to play for people, not everything in music has to be extremely fast or hard. hope some of this has made sense, good night all

yeh im gonna post my easy target cover soon, its pretty rubbish but since no1 else has posted i think people can use it as a kind of version to beat. its not very good though so i might record another one.

have u guy's ever heard Syd's cover of "dammit" it plays it with real skill, and origianlity. U don't like the song? then cover as somthing u do like. our band might to "all the small things" reagee. I would love to hear an "aliens exsist" as a death-metal, or "i miss you" in screamo. Take advantage of their simplicty and create somthing really cool with it! thats my take on it anyway.
