Titans Of Thrash
With the new wake of clans on MX, myself and JMetallica (with help from k'!) came up with idea to create a thrash clan, with sub-clans of your favourite thrash albums. The name of the clan is Titans of Thrash(Insert Acronym of album) e.g Titans of Thrash(RTL). This will allow everyone to have their own individuality and tastes and opinions of their favourite thrash album, whilst still being in a larger group.
Anyone who enjoys thrash as much as the good people as JMetallica and I are welcome to join. Thrash includes, but is not limited to; Exodus, Megadeth, Testament, Metallica, Slayer, Shadows Fall, etc. Even Motorhead fall into this genre (they practically started it). NO FLAMING As to avoid the massive "fan-boy-dome" that is involved with Metallica, people can select their favourite thrash album of any thrash band, and put the initials of the album in brackets. As myself and JMetallica are lazy arses, we have opted not to create an avatar, but just to adopt the title. KEEP THRASH ALIVE!! |

Lovely! :thumb: Nice choice (RIB)!
|
All these new clans are but a pale imitation of the orignal and the best.
|
haha I dare not to argue with Jondur, as he will own me. I just think it's good knowing who's fans of what genre, good way to express yourself.
|
To deftoned: I was having a hard time deciding between RIB, Darkness Descends, and Bonded by Blood.

Yussss! |

 I dig some thrash, but I'm not into joining clans. I'm a free agent. Wooo  |
Yeah, mines a tough race between Kill 'Em All, Master of Puppets, Practice What You Preach and Peace Sells.
|
hahah I think my avatar kinda suits the clan, like in Wayne's World 2:
Kim Basinger: "I'll put on some tunes, I know you love music" Garth: *in weird bemused voice* "You got any Megadeth?" |
Yeah, mines a tough race between Kill 'Em All, Master of Puppets, Practice What You Preach and Peace Sells.
The New Order>PWYP |
It's a tight one, both great albums.
|
The hardest decision ever is Peace Sells vs. Rust in Peace.
Peace sells has pretty much every song is great. But Rust has much better songs (holy wars), and also some ****ty songs (lucretia). Overall I'd have to go with neither one. |
Uh, I'll join aswell since I helped a tiny little bit,. But I only like Megadeth and Metallica. Do I have to do anything?
|
^^ Change your status :p I think thats all
|
LordDargon: Peace wins, as it has no ****ty songs :)
K'! Yeah man that's sweet, you're into it, that's cool. Put Titans of Thrash (initials of your fav. thrash band's album), if you're up for it :thumb:. |
^^ Man but have you heard holy wars! Every time I hear it it blows me away. Even when I listen to it like 3 times in one day.
EDIT: And Peace does have one shitty song. Although it's just a cover. You know, I Ain't Superstitious... *shudders* |
Mmm true, but it's more consistent than RIP IMO. Yeah, ****en oath, Holy Wars is da bomb fo'! hah Yeah it's one awesome mother****er, probably my favourite, with Hangar 18 and Symphony of Destruction.
|
Mark this date, the founding of what will potentially be the largest and best clan on MX, founded by Deftoned, JMetallica and well, Me. And since I am a founding member of a thrash metal clan, I think that I should get into more thrash. What's some good stuff from Exodus and Testament?
|
Bonded By Blood and Tempo Of The ****ed for Exodus
|
Here's a quick overview:
Great Testament Albums: New Order (LordDargon I think I changed my mind, this if my fave, just gave it another listen), The Legacy, Practice What You Preach Great Testament Songs: New Order, The Ballad, Low, Preacher Great Exodus Albums: Bonded by Blood, Fabulous Disaster Great Exodus Songs: And then there Were None, Toxic Waltz, Lesson in Violence |
^ ^ ^
Isn't Baphomet a Death Clan? I didn't take you for a death OR thrash fan Toozey, more like straight heavy metal. |
He used to have this bitchin' Kerry King .gif avatar of him headbanging, it was king (no pun intended)
|
Actually, that's a ****in' good idea. EVERYONE - IT'S THE MX TITANS OF THRASH FROM NOW ON.
|
He used to have this bitchin' Kerry King .gif avatar of him headbanging, it was king (no pun intended)
Perhaps, but that doesn't say anything about him liking Death Metal or what the Baphomets stand for. I mean our clan is pretty obvious what we're into. But the Baphomets I've no idea, and the Circle of Bards confuse me as well. |
Circle of Bards is Power Metal (like Iron Maiden) and Baphomet (isn't that a real clan in real life) is Death.
|
I agree the other baphomets.... BUT, i would consider some thrash pretty extreme, and the baphomet horde is for extreme metal... therefore IMO it considers thrash also.
|
I have a feeling that some people might switch alliegiences and join us, but don't hold that quote against me. What other clans are there? I think out biggest advantage is that we don't have an official avatar and can still be individuals in a clan.
|
I have a feeling that me, K'! and JMetallica have started the biggest MX Clan ever. We are on a goldmine, and if only this clan had a membership fee :upset: haha
|

Dude! You're putting **** on the name of Maiden! They're not at all power metal, just sometimes the lyrics are a bit power-metally... They're straight-up British Heavy Metal, always have been. |
