Guitarless tracks to play along with

Ive started to create tracks that guitarists can practice to. I dont have many now but im adding a couple here and there.

So far ive got drum bits for No one knows, and little sister by QOTSA and be yourself by audio slave.

No one knows and be yourself also have bass tracks so that the fills are done right.

i working on doing little sister but its hard.

im playing to add "go with the flow" soon.

Hmmm, you might be right there. It seems like good idea...

that's very nice of you :)

No problem i enjoy making them. I learn the song in and out when i do this. I'm also working on a forum so that people can request songs that they would like to see done.

Ask a Mod on here and you might be able to have your own little section dedicated to it or something. A lot of people on here obviously use backing tracks so it would be a useful thing to have.

Aussie_rocker 11-24-2005 04:14 AM

I used them :) today

thanx man

that's a good idea actually
we had a backing track thread a while back but I don't know where it went

a little backing track sub forum would be great and most important it would be used
if we can have a bass guitar collabo subforum that no one actually seems to use....

icebryce 11-24-2005 12:28 PM

Thats a good idea. I just go so tired of having to pay for the backing tracks just to find out they suck so i started making them so people to play along. I love playing along with the nirvana one. its SWEET!.

Abu-Abu 11-24-2005 01:22 PM

Just post on guitarbt.com they have a request forums so you can just look there, make one and then load it up into the download section.

icebryce 11-24-2005 03:08 PM

I dont really want to because alot of them are of poor quality. I also post these so the rest of the band can practice the song we play at there houses so we dont always have to be together to practice i just figured i would let other people know that they are there.

Added Best of you foo fighters

What is more valueable a drum track alone or both the drum and bass line?

I'd say drum and bass, seeing as this is the guitar section. It helps with timing and such :)

icebryce 11-26-2005 07:52 PM

good point. I'll work on have bass for all of them.

Krabsworth 11-26-2005 08:07 PM

I usually just jump onto guitar pro and make something.

Isn't the drum all you need for timing...

icebryce 11-26-2005 08:16 PM

i find it helps to get the timing down in non drum spots with the bass... i usualy put in some pedal hihats for timing.

I've got a big release comming yup of a few songs.

Metallicker 11-26-2005 08:18 PM

wow this is really cool man, thanks a lot :)

Tap your feet when the drum stops.

icebryce 11-26-2005 10:35 PM

ya that helps too. I ve got a friend whos wicked fast with his hands but has rythm. He's tempo chalenged. Its kinda funny sometimes. I think it comes from practicing alone alot.
