I don't really understand why everyone is so anti-"As the Eternal Cowboy" I really like that album, granted Reinventing Axl Rose is also incredible.

Untrue, I saw them (aged 16) 6 months ago or so with the blood brothers, it was one of the best shows i've been to.

did anyone find the alternate Cavalier Eternal yet or will I be the savior of the punk forum once my records arrive?

I've been meaning to order a bunch of Against Me! albums, but I can't decide whether to buy them on vinyl or CDs.

Vinyl, no question.

I bought the two new singles, crime, and disco before the breakdown on vinyl, downloaded reinventing and acoustic ep, and bought cavalier eternal on cd because I found it at borders.

I think I'm gonna buy the acoustic ep on vinyl, but I don't really want to shell out the 15 bucks each for the two main releases, especially since I already have them

The acoustic Ep is one of the greatest albums ever.

Thats the first album I got and I really enjoyed it, but now I prefer the origional versions of most of the songs, except Those Anarcho Punks Are Mysterious.

I think the original of "Those Anarcho Punks..." is the only one I like more than the acoustic version. We're like backwards twinkies!

Because Reinventing Axl Rose is so much better, we were disappointed by As the Eternal Cowboy.

i like Reinventing Axl Rose more than As the Eternal Cowboy becaue there are more songs and its longer. plus i think they put more into Reinventing Axl Rose in the sense that they knew they had to make a kickaas record.

I understand that you can have your own opinion and blah blah blah, but I really think those who don't think [I]As The Eternal Cowboy [/I] measures up to [I]Reinventing Axl Rose[/I] should just give ATEC a couple more listens. I guarantee that one song is bound blow you away, and maybe change your mind.

I've listening to ATEC a bunch of times. There were too many filler songs, like the intermission one. There were so many better songs on RAR.
