a broken food processor has more formal integrity than a piano, arguably not more than music itself obviously but come at me bro |
say word.
that was a shitty beat |
say word.
that was a shitty beat
why? |
why?
there's lo-fi and there's crappy sounds. just because you use spare 8-bit sounds doesnt mean you just stick em in raw like that. If bad is what you're aiming for ...... then, good. |

really try to articulate what you're saying. are you saying that you don't like 8 -bit sounds? did you even make it past the intro? |
Here's some more fresh dope.

listened to most of it. It sounds like there was no production what so ever...the drum beat was stupid and melody sequence was stupid....i'm stupider now for having listened to it. stupiderest |

Reason 6.5 (essentials). The new version has seamlessly made the leap from midi programmer to full on DAW. Now reason can record audio in real time and it also has it's own set of user and industry built "rack extensions" which are basically VSTs. I sound like an advertisement for it because i've used reason for almost 8 years now and it's finally in the big leagues as far as production capabilities go. It's always been the most creative, right brained production DAW due to the ability to route instruments and effects to CV (control voltages) and then to other instruments or filters. what are you using? FL? |
Ya FL cuz I'm a noob.
I'm just cutting disco samples, filter automation ova everything, sidechain, MEGA BASS DRUM. |
thats dope an all that. im on some jeff beck guitar pitched down like 16 semi tones. im trying to track up some joint more tailored for rappers than this soundcloud "the beat stand on its own" type shit.
|
the beat is a bit annoying as - but the track overall is pretty cool.. The dudes flow is almost wack, but can't really fault it and end of liking it by the end of the track
