In/Humanity - Violent Resignation: The Great American Teenage Suicide

classicbear 06-25-2009 09:07 AM

Hi all.

Im looking for some new, great, big, loud, music. Rock?metalish stuff i guess, i really prefer good singing in music right now though. Used to listen to lots of heavy stuff but ive gotten out for a while and i need some noise to move me.

I like things like Incubus, Mogwai, Pearl Jam, Dinosaur Junior. any suggestions?

RetiredAt21 06-25-2009 02:51 PM

I can't stand that band.

Jaundice 06-25-2009 02:52 PM

Yeah I listened to them once and it literally almost drove me to suicide

But it's been years and I figure I should at least give a shot.

I used to dislike Meshuggah like 2 or 3 years ago but they were definitely a grower. Now I really like them, I like them a lot.

Start with Chaosphere.

pate 06-26-2009 08:19 AM

Yeah Mike you used to **** on me every time I listened to them. Bastard.

Txus 06-26-2009 12:00 PM

haha, yeah. I thought they were the most boring crap ever, but idk, I got into their stuff, I still kinda dislike the vocals though :(

I have recently been listening to a lot of Sigh's Hangman's Hymn....I'm looking for any black or death metal that incorporate a symphonic element that is not Cradle of Filth or Dimmu Borgir. Any suggestions?
