a retard only knows 100% will (ideally), I would say yes. However I'm chaffed that I don't do it enough.

i always act as the devil's advocate with this band and call them overrated and not that good but i listen to them a shitload either way so

i liked pavement at first but then like a few years later i stopped liking them. their music sounds warm and flat and tan like a popsicle stick that has been out in the sun for a few hours or something. also kind of sweaty. like a hot summer day without a gentle breeze and your refrigerator isn't working so you don't have anything to drink except warm water. and you are in a room where most of the furniture and decor use the colors brown, red, yellow and orange. it's quite nauseating, really. but then they popped up like this past fall and i started listening to them again and i really enjoyed their music.

you're kinda late getting that memo =]

All their stuff is awesome. All their songs have great melodies for the most part, and Steve's singing changes tone enough to not get monotonous.

Yeah Pavement is sweet.

Pavement is overrated imo, but to go as far as to say that they "suck..."

in 1990 they were amazing. now of course there are better bands. i cannot listen to them much anymore. sometimes i'll throw on summer babe.

the jinks are ok and the silver jews are ok too.

They're a decently talented band but not my thing.

I've tried to listen to their first album but it doesn't really do anything for me. They seem kinda pretentious. I'll keep trying, just cause I've heard so much about them.

Great band. I'm sure all the people hating on here love pinkerton by weezer, even though its the exact same sound just diluted.

Admittedly i only got into [I]Slanted Enchanted[/I], but gimme pavement over most of that early 90s alt rock drivel, especially the swirlies
