Well, if 10% of the people on this planet is Homo, Bi or transexual, shoudlnt that rule apply for guitarists too?

Like, are there any famous guitarists that are openly gay?

I know there are straight (?) guys who have sex with other guys, they can only love women, but they dont get turned on by them.

you can love someone without wanting sex, and you can have sex with someone without loving them. either way, it would be gay to romantically love another man or have sex.

so there are statistically only 20 guitarists in the entire world.

I'm pretty sure the guitarist from AFI is gay.... he isnt extremely famous, but decently known..... and there are probobly many more, but to be gay is one thing, but openly is different, it certainly could hurt sales

not unless everyone in the world plays guitar.

as a guess i'll say 25% of the people on earth play guitar/bass. which means only 10% of those 25%. which leaves only a small 2.5% of not-straight guitar players in the whole world.

and even that statistic could be greater or less due to cultural reasons.

It would still imply 10% of all guitarists are gay

and it's not like there's some rule that says that the apparently random 10% of gay people are evenly dispersed between all other walks of life- What if, coincidentally, not a single gay person plays guitar?
