Anybody ever listen to Einstürzende Neubauten?
|
yeah, been listening Halber Mensch a lot the last week. it's great. I have Strategies Against Architecture and Tabula Rasa as well
np: Laibach - Opus Dei http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YE_j0xIsJA awesome |
Yeah I just listened to Halber Mensch and I really liked it, I will check out the others
Omg that video made me LOL hard! |
Tabula Rasa is popular, I haven't given it much of a chance though. And if you liked that video this is obligatory -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbB1s7TZUQk I've said it twenty times i'll say it again, there is nothing more epic then caribou on the mountain. |
hahaha that was awesome
Anybody ever listen to Einstürzende Neubauten?
I donwloaded an album by them a week or two ago, haven't listened to it yet. I'm getting into this sketchy industrial grindcore band The Locust right now, it's not bad at all. |

Yeah...... |
The Locust? why are they here?
|
i felt the need to bring them up, due to those umm electronic interludes between their twenty second long metal songs.
i dig the gray outfits though |
cause LostChild thinks they are sketchy industrial grindcore
|
i hate my user name
|
lol
|
been listening to Contagious Orgasm - Dessert Addicts Will Return To This, recommended for some more IDM style industrial
|
hey meatplow, dont know if you got my comment on last.fm but can you send me the first link to Navicon Torture Technologies album? i have the other two links for it but i lost the first and already deleted the weekly upload email like an idiot. thanks buddy
|

|

psyclon nine is incredible
|
Anyone dig Prurient?
HEIL. Such a good group. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b01VmgDjhmU
love prurient. man does no wrong. the sutcliffe jugend album "when pornography is not enough" is the only album i've ever heard in my life that made me so uncomfortable i had to take a shower. anyone into pig heart transplant? |
never heard of 'em, what's a good release to look into? on a massive industrial kick of late. sutcliffe jugend is ****ing great
I gave Whitehouse my first listen today (Great White Death), awesome. The vocals can be a little grating but I got used to 'em fairly quick. |
three words for yall
BURNING STAR CORE |
I didn't like Challenger much but I need to check out their earlier works.
|
love prurient.
man does no wrong.
I've only heard his split with the black metal band Akitsa. What would you recommend I get next? |
Get Black Vase and Pleasure Ground next.
Whitehouse are excellent, and so is Burning Star Core, that kid is ****ing nuts. His Collab album with Prurient, Ghost of Niagara, is beautiful (lol) |
Pleasure Ground, definitely not bad record, I recd you homos that ages ago, Apple Tree Victim is great song
|
Burning Star Core is pretty cool.
|
psyclon nine is incredible
i like psyclon nine the song harlot and the scar of the deceiver are 2 of my favs |
lemme see if i can find a download for the pig heart transplant lp, if not i believe the label Deer Healer Records put it out if you should feel so inclined to give it a try.
EDIT: Couldn't find an upload but here's their myspace: www.myspace.com/pighearttransplant I'm assuming the answer is of course, but has Wolf Eyes been mentioned yet? |
excellent
have you heard that brethren album I mentioned before? some of the best PE i've heard yet |
I'm assuming the answer is of course, but has Wolf Eyes been mentioned yet?
I'm pretty sure no one has mentioned them. I thought about bringing them up, but from what I've heard so far they're nothing groundbreaking. Burned Mind is an enjoyable listen though.
|
Burned Mind is great, their self title is also great. The rest of their albums are okay though, not the best Noise out there.
|

Seriously. |
i tired listening to Brethren and i couldnt get into it. but Einstürzende Neubauten's "½ Mensch" was great.
|
atonality and a focus on noise textures rather then musical structure can make the genre an acquired taste for sure. glad you enjoyed that EN, I thought you would
Listened to this before, some exceptionally good industrial metal. |
On the subject of atonality and noise textures, anyone in this thread that doesn't listen to Cluster needs to gtfo.

i saw them with john weise a few years ago and it was badass. wolf eyes were so fuckin loud...and weise is just a fuckin jedi behind the knobs |
