Untrue, I saw them (aged 16) 6 months ago or so with the blood brothers, it was one of the best shows i've been to.
did anyone find the alternate Cavalier Eternal yet or will I be the savior of the punk forum once my records arrive?
Nope, I have it. I've been meaning to order a bunch of Against Me! albums, but I can't decide whether to buy them on vinyl or CDs. |
Vinyl, no question.
|
I bought the two new singles, crime, and disco before the breakdown on vinyl, downloaded reinventing and acoustic ep, and bought cavalier eternal on cd because I found it at borders.
I think I'm gonna buy the acoustic ep on vinyl, but I don't really want to shell out the 15 bucks each for the two main releases, especially since I already have them |

So, should I get Reinventing Axl Rose first, or the DVD?

The acoustic Ep is one of the greatest albums ever.
|
Thats the first album I got and I really enjoyed it, but now I prefer the origional versions of most of the songs, except Those Anarcho Punks Are Mysterious.
|
I was going to see them april 15th, but it was sold out.
Where do you live? |

I think the original of "Those Anarcho Punks..." is the only one I like more than the acoustic version. We're like backwards twinkies! |
I don't really understand why everyone is so anti-"As the Eternal Cowboy" I really like that album, granted Reinventing Axl Rose is also incredible.
Because Reinventing Axl Rose is so much better, we were disappointed by As the Eternal Cowboy. |
Reinventing Axl Rose>As the Eternal Cowboy
|
Aweome profile on A great band.
Hopefully this one will last a while, because I like talking about AM! |
i like Reinventing Axl Rose more than As the Eternal Cowboy becaue there are more songs and its longer. plus i think they put more into Reinventing Axl Rose in the sense that they knew they had to make a kickaas record.
I really want the Acoustic Ep |
I love these guys. "Walking is still honest" is one of my favorites.

1.2.3. And because it was on the previous page and you probably missed it, where are you from, A-P? |

I understand that you can have your own opinion and blah blah blah, but I really think those who don't think As The Eternal Cowboy measures up to Reinventing Axl Rose should just give ATEC a couple more listens. I guarantee that one song is bound blow you away, and maybe change your mind. |

There were so many better songs on RAR. |

Slurring the Rhythms I one of my favorite songs of theirs period. Also, I know I am bringing this back from the dead but this band deserves it. |
I got into AM! from As The Eternal Cowboy, it was the most amazing punk record I had ever heard, to be honest. And it probably sealed my fate in punk. But when I downloaded Reinventing Axl Rose..love at first listen. Probably the single best punk album in the last 5-6 years.

Yeah, As The Eternal Cowboy was what introduced me to them. I still listen to it constantly. Although Slurring the Rhythms was the song that got me to listen to it more, Turn Those Clapping Hands Into Angry Balled Fists took quite a stab at me, and quickly became my favorite song. Get me on soulseek at thepo or at AIM at AGAINST PO if you still want to trade some stuff. I have A LOT of stuff. |
