Pop Punk Jukebox (Post your band here)

Ok guys, this thread is for posting your bands for feedback and stuff. Think of it as our own personal Audio Arena!

WHEN YOU POST YOUR BAND, post a link, name and a brief summary of what your style is, so we have something to expect.

I only want to see bands and brief comments, any spam will be deleted, if you want to know more about the person's band then take it the discussion thread or AIM, thanks!

/me starts off

This is my old band, Risk 26. We were like pop-punk with some heavier stuff. Our singer wasn't very good.

http://www.purevolume.com/risk26

This is my solo stuff, the genres kind of range all over. The quality and the singing isn't too great, but maybe the songs are ok.

i'm rhythm guitar and i can't spell rythym, but that's ok.

we're rock basically. we love our pop punk, black metal, screamo, whatever. we like it all and we use it all.....except black metal.

we don't have mp3's yet because we are poor. but we got a load of songs so if you're ever in the rochester, NY area, check us out.

'January, 26th 1976'

Ok guys,

Here is a link to the official website of my band called 'January, 26th 1976'.
The style is Pop/Rock, the band is French (they sing in English) and we started to play in France this summer after a 3 year 'training' period in a garage  .
We have a set of 15 tunes. 4 of them ('to believe', 'no anger, no joy', 'up and down' and 'game is over') are downloadable at this address:

http://www.26january1976.com/26january1976_2.htm (just clik on the orange square on the left 'album, écouter, télécharger' to have access to the MP3s demos ;) )

I'm sorry, the website is in french  but any feedback and stuff about the band (and the music of course) will be more than appreciated (particularly about the lyrics and the accent of our French singer!!! )

This is important because we are looking for a venue in England to play live (even for free....), that's why I really would like to have English speakers' opinions :D :D

I Look forward to reading your comments on the band,

Tx to those of you who give me any feedback :thumb: :thumb:
Cheers, Mathias.

Hi Mr Mod.
The post I put up on this thread (item 21 - Koopa) seems to have trouble with the links. When I click on them they all prefix the link with www.musicianforums...
Is my old Mac or have I done something wrong?
Or - best of all - can you sort this for me?
Best wishes

chips88 10-29-2004 10:20 PM

this is my band that i have just joined

http://www.hxcmp3.com/bands/17475/

we, (or i should say they, because notice, there is no bass in this song, because i wasnt with them when they recorded this) kinda have our own sound going. modest mouse-ish. no lyrics for the song at the moment, they just felt like putting something up. also notice how steve is a smartass at the beginning. you kinda have to turn the volume up to hear it. when we get better recordings, with bass and lyrics etc. ill post it up.enjoy :thumb:
