My band's not really pop-punk, but i can post it here anyway. There are a few pop-punk songs there though now i think.

Salvation Promise

Mixture of punk/pop-punk, prog and some metal jabbed in there too.
I generally write songs of what genre i like at the time.

I have a drummer (Callum) and myself (Laura). And i'm looking for a bassist and maybe a guitarist/keyboard player.

I think that might only work if you're a soundclick member or something but try it anyway.

Oh and do not pay attention to the vocals. We are aware they suck.

Hey, im from the band cloud in the UK, please check out our myspace site: http://www.myspace.com/cloudband

We bass ourselves around pop-punk, although we do like to try out new stuff and experiment with different styles.

We've been taking a bit of a break lately but now we desperatly need to get going again, so please help build us up by adding us.

(I put a small guitar sample up on the page, and we now hope to go on to recording as a band to give people a better idea of what we're like.)

we are a pop-punk band with some punk/hardcore influences. i guess we sound kinda like anti-flag on the song we have hosted, but not really on others.
we recorded this song in a basement and were running out of time so the vocals aren't too great.

Firecracker 01-03-2006 01:32 PM

I newly classified myself as progressive pop. Haha.
I dunno, it kind of is, but sounds so stupid.
I think it's pop-punk rock with progressive influences, with added pianos.
Lol.

Independent artist Drew Parker has just released a new single as part of the National Free Charles Lee Radio Week. The song tells a story of an American wrongfully arrested and tortured and his friends' determination to rescue him. You can download the song from his web site:

Living Out of Habit

I think you guys are pretty sick but I could only watch the video 'cause your myspace link didn't work.

So, post here again, anyways.

Spence: You should have just left the thread open, no one ever responds to bands in this thread anyways :-\

weerez1391 03-18-2006 03:29 PM

I'm in a pop punk band called Living Out of Habit from Suffolk, Virginia. We're all into hardcore and punk, but we like pop punk too, so we kinda fused it together to make one behemoth of a ****ty band! We're all around the 15-16 year old mark, so we're pretty proud of the stuff we're playing at at a fairly young age. If you're into Chiodos, Thrice, or newer Hopesfall you might like our stuff. Anyways we recorded an acoustic cover of The Bouncing Souls "Anchors Aweigh" and a video of one of our songs, so you can listen to those at these websites:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=H_HPggh2C1E

http://www.myspace.com/livingoutof

Also, in the video the sound is a little bit ahead of the movement. Cheap cameras suck.

thanks! I'd appreciate it if maybe you told some of your fellow pop punkers to check us out, cause the thread on this got closed and no one looks in here.:chug: But anyways, thanks alot!

The video was pretty cool. So is the song on your myspace. Can't really hear the vocals that well, but I'm sure that's an equipment issue. :)

weerez1391 03-18-2006 03:57 PM

I'm actually the vocalist and the lead guitarist! But, yeah in the video, we used cd speakers and for the acoustic song we used a ****ty guitar amp for the vocals. We're very poor, so we can't afford a pa system.haha. We're actually in the process of saving 180 dollars to record right now. So far we have $10!
