That a request or a dibs?

morrissey 12-07-2004 02:26 PM

Can I put a dibs on Strangeways, Here We Come by the Smiths? I should get around to it later in the week :).

Iai 12-07-2004 02:44 PM

I already have dibs on it, but you can have it.

I'm not giving up We Are The Quarry though.

Ouch. Sorry I didn't see that you wanted it... I can always do "Kill Uncle" *shudder*

Iai 12-07-2004 02:52 PM

Yeah, mine have been slack recently too. Though You Are The Quarry should be up pretty soon, and since the Pearl Jam and Placebo ones are track-by-track, I can do those in a few spare minutes rather than having to do it one sitting. So they should be done pretty soon.

By the way, dibs on Buck 65's Talkin Honky Blues. :)

This is irrelevant....but your Posts Per Day is ridiculous. :p

morrissey 12-07-2004 03:00 PM

it gets worse... I only actually started posting at the beginning of November :upset:

..but there is a perfectly logical explanation, and as soon as I make one up, I will get back to you :p

Note: I don't want to spam up this thread, because that would be mean. Sorry

Scott Herren 12-07-2004 06:19 PM

I just spent 2+ hours on a British Sea Power review, was on two seperate posts. I made sure to copy it to my clipboard before posting, I try to post, my browser says it has to close, and my clipboard is cleared. . I am sick to my stomach.

I think III has been done already.

Iai, looking forward to the Buck 65 one, I came in here to request something from him. :thumb:

I'll have Deltron 3030 done within the next couple days, just have to, you know, start it.

Write them in notepad or something, and save it often.

are BSP like Delays at all? If I really liked Delays - Wanderlust, and hadnt heard any other of their songs, would you recommend buyuing BSP on a whim? I've seen Decline of BSP at a cheap price

Scott Herren 12-07-2004 07:56 PM

British Sea Power is almost like Britain's answer the the new post-punk scene in America with bands like the Walkmen and Interpol. So in short, they are nothing like Delays, but you would still probably like them.

blueyxd 12-07-2004 08:08 PM

Well I don't know any Interpol or Walkmen.. but I feel bold, so I might give it a go anyway.

Yeah, it has. No replies though.

Scott - you should really start typing them out in text documents beforehand.

Scott Herren 12-07-2004 08:10 PM

The album is practically flawless, you won't be disappointed.

Society Sellout 12-09-2004 08:41 AM

Hey can someone review Straylight Run's debute album plz. That would be really helpful to me. Thanks

Bartender 12-09-2004 04:07 PM
sonata arctica- ecliptica
Has also already been done. You should really check the list before calling dibs.

Shadows 12-09-2004 04:53 PM

Somebody stop me before my list of dibs is days long...but I'd like to add Aborted - Goremageddon to it.

And yes I checked but I didn't see it on the reviewed list.

superpeer 12-09-2004 07:03 PM

Belgian Metal, nice.

Shadows 12-09-2004 07:09 PM

Oh yeah. I picked it up today for the first time in a while and couldn't figure out why I stopped listening to it in the first place.

Iai2 12-11-2004 12:48 PM
