Probably my favorite "christian band" has to be A Plea For Purging. But I'm biased to my friends.

Dream Quest rule more than all of these? Know why? Cause half their Gospel is Jesus related, the other half is metal.

Plus their first album is their only preachy one (and it's campy as ****).

I like Underoath, too, and Maylene is decent. DivineFire is okay too I guess.

Aletheian is pretty damn awesome, as well.

And Frosthardr.

Man, Crimson Moonlight are such cool dudes. They got offended when we said we thought we sucked when we played with them at cornerstone. Their guitarist is like the tallest, most swedish dude I have ever seen haha

The first album is good, haven't heard the second, and the third one is ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS.

My guitarist Michael Cuttings, Original Metal Band Holy Soldier is still around. They got signed to A&M Word back in the late 80's and were pretty big back then like Stryper. Times have changed and they are more of a nostalgic band lately.

Becoming the Archetype are awesome, Living Sacrifice has some good songs. i know some other good christian metal bands but im blank right now

With Blood Comes Cleansing. Great Christian DM.

Dream Quest, Becoming the Archetype, and Monotheist (a local band from Florida) are probably my favorites.

Maylene and the Sons of Disaster are a fun band

I've mentioned this before. I find Cage to be the only Christian oriented band I can enjoy. Even a lot. They don't get all preachy, holier than thou, and have excellent music, plus they're from San Diego which raises their awesomeness even more.

Well if people could actually seriously discuss Christian music without trying to be funny and/or a[size=2]s[/size]sholes..I mean yes there is some horrible Christian music, but not all Christian music sucks. Aletheian is probably one of the best bands I have heard in the "Christian" metal catergory. Christian black metal isn't even that bad, though it does seem like an oxymoron, yes, and it will get slammed endlessly by the critics.

You have got to be kidding me. WBCC is nothing but DM. Unless they just put out a new one recently that sucks balls. But thier first and to my knowledge only album is straight American DM.

They're just another "deathcore" band.

Trust me dude, we've toured with them, they're basically a bunch of hardcore kids playing heavy music and calling it death metal just because it's "br00tal".

Well, I personally think it's pretty DM sounding (most of it anyway, aside from the generic breakdown from time to time), but it doesn't surprise me that they're typical harcore kids.

a lot of bands these days have hardcore roots so you're pretty much going to have to deal with ti till the 90's kids get old enough to become big with their grunge/post-grunge inspired music
