Isint In Flames a christian band? They've got some pretty sweet stuff.

Anyone heard Staple? or Sides of the North? both are broken up now, unfortunately... i just hung out with Darin (staple singer) this past weekend. Both great bands though..

my old roommate when i lived in the dorms asked me to go to a concert with him, so i said sure. it ended up being a Thousand Foot Krutch and Falling Up show. they were pretty energetic live, but in between songs the singer for TFK kept on preaching and crap. it kind of ruined it since i hate church. i must say for about a couple months i became a big fan of both bands but now i barely listen to them

havn't heard much from TFK...

i cant stand preachy bands... its cool if u wanna b christian or whatever, but dont force it upon other ppl

their album Phenomenon has a couple good tunes on it, the last song on it has a catchy as hell bridge. only a few of their songs have preachy lyrics, the rest are about overcoming adversity or trying to pump you up for something

i cant take christian rock/metal seriously
since a lot of metal is.. er.. anti-religion.. it just doesn't really go

And Thousand Foot Crutch had a horrible horrible single on modern rock radio a few years ago that just blew me away with crappyness.

that was probably Rawkfist or This Is A Call. both im not a huge fan of. the songs i like by them are Last Words, I Climb, and Break the Silence. their last album The Art of Breaking has a song called Hand Grenade which is pretty good, they kind of dropped the rap rock style on this one

It was Rawkfist. And it is everything that is wrong with music today.
