They're still kicking *** live. Put on a hell of a show.

Ol' Rob can't reach some of his highs anymore, though.

alytee123 08-16-2009 06:18 PM

Halford does have a tendency to look his age on stage nowadays, but they're still a superior metal band.

Seeing Protest The Hero tomorrow, Lower Than Atlantis supporting, but they're lame.

2muchket! 08-16-2009 06:18 PM

LTA aren't bad.

Skyler 08-16-2009 06:34 PM

Was supposed to see The Flaming Lips last night with a bunch of people but everyone had work. :(

Seeing Atmosphere + Eyedea & Abilities in about a week and a half or so.

There are tons of shows that I'd love to go to but I don't really have any money.

Txus 08-16-2009 06:40 PM

My friend went to that Atmosphere and Eyedea gig, he told me yedea kicked Atmosphere's *** completely that night.

I have Earth, Sunn O))), WITTR and Pelican coming up and after that Boris.

ATM 08-16-2009 07:43 PM

August 20th - Bloody Panda/Oak
September 2nd - Pygmy Lush

September 8th - Weedeater/Melvins

Countorus 08-16-2009 08:07 PM

i went to that same show, Municipal Waste was good

Bleekill 08-16-2009 08:22 PM

I just missed Giant Squid. I'm going to see Motorhead, Nashville P*ssy and Reverend Horton Heat next I think. Actually Down/Melvins is a few days before that.

xMalcolmXx 08-16-2009 08:24 PM

september 7th - architect/merrimac/between the buried and me
october something - mastodon/dethklok/high on fire/converge
possibly october something else - etid/bmth/architects

other than those it's crappy local shows i guess.

Cool man. I've been wanting to see E&A for years now. Never thought I would be able to after they went on hiatus.

negrodamus 08-16-2009 09:06 PM

October 16 - Om, Six Organs of Admittance, Lichens
November 5 - The Jesus Lizard (not 100% decided on this one yet, just a possibility.)

Shattered_Future 08-16-2009 10:04 PM

September has Boredoms, Streetlight Manifesto, Rodrigo Y Gabriela and Mono again. October has Sufjan Stevens and Infected Mushroom, and there's probably a hella lot more to come.

bungy 08-16-2009 10:24 PM

Fall Of Troy, Thursday, The Dear Hunter
