Bubbly Type Effect
 

I have the Digitech Synth Wah pedal, but the envelope filter and all the synths aren't quite what I'm looking for. What I really want is a really deep, bubbly type sound. I managed to get one by mixing a wah'd track of bass with some insane chorus in Cool Edit, and I was wondering if anybody knows of a really good pedal to give that same kind of burbly, bubbly effect.

...Can you describe it a little better? I mean...'bubbly'?

Can you name a song it might be in? Or relate it to something else?

Although my first suggestion might be to look into Digitech's Hyper Phase pedal...

I'm just looking for a more sensitive, dynamic autowah basically. I can't name any songs with the effect I'm looking for, probably because I'm really picky. Maybe I can put the track I made in my dmusic...

Hmm... seems like the right thing. I might go try out a delay, and then run it as delay to synth wah to chorus, because a geetarist that I jam with runs like that, and it sounds right.

Just listened to the Bassballs demo and it sounds pretty bitchin'. Maybe once I get my amp I'll get one.

bassballs sounds sweet - could do the trik with a little bit of tweaking

I have bassballs. Its pretty cool but theres not much in the way of controls; there is a sensitivity knob, and a distortion switch. It has a good range of tones but many of those depend on your input tone.

go to flea/advanced/number4 and he has two 'underwater' sound samples. There seems to be a brief discription on that page of what he does to get that sound but I can't make out most of what he is saying.

The sound on "underwater sound" come from a DOD FX25 Envelope Filter. Flea use it on the slapped bridge of "Power Of equality".

I don't think Clayoppol is ever using a constant effect. Think of that wiere bridge in Lacquer Head "Keep on sniffin till your brain goes pop".. that part a bit. But the Bassballs is it, I just need to get my stack.

You must have a medium bass sound to great use the DOD FX25. The MusicMan stingray give a great sound with this envelope filter and be careful, Envelope Filter is far from Bass Balls, this is not the same thing !
Moreovoer, to have a amazing sound, couple a Bass Balls with the DOD FX25-> your bass talks :)
