Meatplow 01-03-2010 09:59 PM

i've decided to start buying CD's again

Aaron 01-03-2010 09:59 PM

Is that the super crazy one with the yellow cover?

Meatplow 01-03-2010 10:02 PM

the original had black and white hot rod style artwork, the re-release is in a full colour. looks pretty snazzy

I thought I would have more post-punk/new wave orientated blogs browsing through what I am following.

Nepenthe 01-06-2010 01:44 AM

my 'dark wave' desire quickly shifted into a space synth desire so ive been listening to solar fields and those artists i mentioned on the blog the past 2 nights. going to get the dark wave stuff soon.

Meatplow 01-06-2010 01:50 AM

yeah I need some more of that

I am tempted to get back into further investigating the genre, I overindulged in way too many bands at once first time around.

Meatplow 01-07-2010 12:13 AM

Autechre's Incunabala is so good.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wE_P5S1Hb6I

They have emerged as one of the most worthwhile electronic artists I have looked into.

Jaundice 01-07-2010 12:27 AM

speaking of dark wave any of you guys into Pink Turns Blue?

they're from Cologne, Germany, and supposedly one of the most prominent and influential darkwave groups

i just got their debut, probably about to give it a listen

Nepenthe 01-07-2010 03:54 PM

is that just a story you made up to promote your newest 'band'?

Meatplow 01-07-2010 04:00 PM

The Neon Judgement's Mafu Cage is a pretty good post punk release.

Txus 01-07-2010 04:04 PM

Did you enjoy the Solar Fields album, Anthony?

Nepenthe 01-07-2010 04:06 PM

was quite excellent but i honestly like the mirrors edge videogame soundtrack better. gonna give leaving home a listen tonight or tomorrow night.

Jaundice 01-07-2010 05:07 PM
is that just a story you made up to promote your newest 'band'?
nah , although i totally understand how you arrived at that conclusion

Nepenthe 01-07-2010 05:12 PM

there were a lot of indicators
