A lot. I've only been a few times but the idea of people lining up to go into such a shit hole doesn't strike well with me, and the hipster-douchebag clientèle (people wearing fucking scarves in june) really irritate me. There's much nicer bars in the area. I'd rather go to the Cadillac or Rhino or walk a bit to the Gladstone's Melody Bar.

The Social might even be worse than the Drake. At least the Drake has some decent live acts (like this coming Monday).

I knew I'd get a awesome explanation from you. I haven't been in a couple of years but I'm going tomorrow to go see Drop The Lime. My friend came back from Whis and was like take me to a hipster place downtown and The Social was the first thing that popped in my mind.

Hertog Jan is actually way too expensive for me. (It's really fucking great beer, though.) I just bought that one bottle of bock beer and a couple more cans of cheap ass beer. I don't like to drink more than one bock beer anyway. I usually switch to regular beer afterwards.

It's changed a fair bit in the last few years. It's this weird faux-upscale dump now that people flock to. It's basically turned into a club whereas before you could just go and get drunk and it wasn't a big deal.

Usually not my thing either, but one bottle for the hell of it every few months is nice.

Also, yeah MX is quite dead atm. I thought I'd better not go and get wasted with friends tonight because I have a gig tomorrow, but then I was like fuck it and I'm drinking beer anyway, but everyone is tired or busy anyway, so now tonight's just me and MX or WoW or something.

Life is as ok as it can be right now. Start work again on the first. Tired of being broke. havent been back to school yet. Just keep procrastinating. Wanna go back soon but I've said that before. We'll see if I back it up this time.
