I was joking, I've only ever heard Underoath once, and that was some song just shouting "I love you Jesus Christ" over and over.

RCVA 12-28-2005 09:46 AM

Sorry i didn't get it. I've only heard one song too. It was horrible.

As soon as I heard "I love you Jesus Christ" I vowed never to listen to them again.

Bands have every right to sing about whatever they want. People have every right to chose not to listen to them for that reason. No one has any right to say that they don't belong.

Don't get so pissy. It's the internet. You're turning into Cheeser.

ThePassionOfTheKasey 12-28-2005 03:30 PM

People are allowed to have opinions and respond to malicious dicks without turning into cheeser. I'm not arguing for the sake of arguing. He obviously posted that with the intent of starting an argument.

Let's Chop Cats! 12-28-2005 03:35 PM

Ignore him then, the internet was invented to piss people off anonymously with no repercussion.

Exactly...

south_guitar 12-28-2005 08:01 PM

Facedown Records is a Christian hardcore (for the most part) record label. They have a few decent bands, too.

We didn't know that, thanks.

I'm cool with bands being religious, as long as they don't try to convert their listeners.

Dude your ****ing retarded, I know the original integrity people, the story behind the band. There not religous at all, Dwid is just a peice of metalcore wanna turd.

Did you guys know that skrewdriver put out a Kwanza album before Ian got racist. One of the original members was a jew.

shane italian 12-28-2005 08:08 PM

Facedown is slowly dropping the Christian thing though. They've been trying to sign a few bands that are definitely not religious (Suicide Silence is a good example) for a while now.

Yeah, kind of sucks.

I don't really like a lot of the mainstream christian bands, and the ones I do like I know you guys don't like, but there are tons of local bands, not even just from Houston, that are christian that are cool.

The_shotgun_message 12-29-2005 02:26 AM

Hopesfall (ye i know not really hardcore but the frailty of words especially is prity much a hardcore cd) used to be very christian and they are my favourite band yet im not even remotly religious and to be honest feel that religion constrains people. Saying that i enjoy the christian bands lyrics as they are usually well written.

There is a strong religious theme in their lyrics, you can't deny that. No one said that they're actually religious. Moron.

oopyman 12-29-2005 02:42 AM

And stop namedropping.
