need some theory help, i was messing around on a piano at school the other day and stumbled upon this little mint sounding chord progression. now i know its in A minor/C major, but since the voicings change up some i figured some modes would be in order or something, but idk what to do as far as all that goes. someone wanna give at least a hint or two?

Absolution is by far their most solid effort. Saying it was them selling out is just your way of justifying why you don't like it. So shut the f[size=2]u[/size]ck up. There's also the point that it's their music, and they can take it in any direction they want, regardless of whatever some anally retentive fanboy decides. Popularity of music is not inversely proportional to quality of music (which in itself is entirely subjective).

But I have to say, I'm really not liking anything I've heard off of Resistance yet.

I've never really liked Muse..

the chord prog is Am, F (in the first inversion), Dm (in the second inversion, Dm, G (second inversion)

can't say i've been impressed with muse since absolution because they don't really seem to be going anywhere, all their tunes have the same sound and structure - well, not [I]all[/I] of them - i wanted them to get a bit more populist and write songs that aren't about cosmic grumpiness, maybe go a bit abba

was interested by the idea of them writing some rnb tunes but from what ive heard that's not really a big part of their new stuff

Ugh, I HATE straight Bacardi 151... though past the one shot I did straight (and later regretted) it is a part of the "Liquid Cocaine" that I know. Which, seeing it is your birthday, is a good thing to drink as it gets you ****ed up pretty good. Not to mention it is a lot easier going down than just straight Bacardi 151.

Mix: 1 oz. Bacardi 151 Rum, 1 oz. Jagermeister, and 1 oz. Goldschlager.

Yes, it's a double shot, and essentially is only 54% alcohol. Seeing it is a double shot a lot of people are like, "i've only taken one [double] shot, I'm good!" and then like two shots later they are passed out.

There are a ton of bars close to my house that have 2$ draft nights during happy hour which is like 5 - 8 pm at a lot of places here.

that used to happen for me back freshman and sophomore year because when i'd get back to my room i'd still be kinda drunk, but nowadays i'm usually sober by the time i get to a computer. maybe i dont drink as much as i used to.
