I think with the mac ads you mustn't see them as serious adverts.
All companies bend or distort the truth in adverts they produce.

The point of macs as good home computers is very valid. The amount of time i have spent fixing problems with computers for family and friends really does take the piss.

Mothers in general (in my experience) have no clue with computers and adding gripes and grinds of a PC won't help their experience... enter macintosh.

My mum in particular keeps wanting for me to let her use microsoft office on my mac as opposed to the same version of office on the family PC.
For me thats proof enough.

Oh yer and i didn't know that about shank. I know its the name of a meal. But the reason it was chosen as a band name was because of its entry on some urban dictionary.
