give it time. i'd never listened to post-metal before that album or even since so I don't know if i'm just not "used" to the genre, but though it seemed a tad mediocre at first it definitely came out for me as something special after several listens.

Yep Kansas City, Mo sucks as well, probably not as bad as Kansas though.
