Celldweller > all. I have nothing more to say on the subject.
|
idk about that but they seem a decent enough industrial metal group from the couple of songs i've heard
have you heard Flesh Field? you might like Strain |
Not familiar; I'll have to look 'em up. Celldweller is a single-man project, which is crazy. The guy writes all of his own music, plays the instruments and as far as I know, supervises or performs all the production duties as well. Takes like five years to release an album, but when he does you know it's going to be perfect.

You would probably like this Aaron & Alex. They butcher Serge Gainsbourg & Brigette Bardot's Bonnie & Clyde though, they just loop the original song and speak english over it :p Awkward pop indeed... |
Lol, boy-girl pop duo with heavy irony and camp trash stylings is what the concept of awkward pop was based on before it got so concerned with being dark and difficult. I'll give this the obligatory listen probably some time today.
Dance Before The Police Come kind of catches you off gaurd doesnt it |
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6ZEmwGURko&feature=player_embedded
idk if you watched that but its pretty amazing haven't listened to it yet I will tommorow |
you'll probably like it
it has this The Land Of Rape and Honey feel in that it starts off with a couple standard old school rap joints and then randomly gives way to some 90's hardcore with samples and breakbeats out the *** |
You have my interest.
|
All the track names are wrong on the link u gave me, i'll have to take a look at the song lenghths on discogs to put it in proper order
apparently Shut Up And Dance ! Records was an important underground force in the English rave scene |
is it hardcore electronic, similar to SL2, Acen or early Prodigy?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXCN1DhHTZA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymMzjKKRefw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Qdp4hBYaa4 I have a taste for this sort of break led early 90's rave music, I want to fully investigate it |
i've never heard any of those
but its definitely some breakbeat early hardcore type stuff, applied to somewhat of a hip hop context http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPFwdzKM1H8&feature=related |
i'm guessing dance before the police come is a reference to how there was a big kerfuffle about british raves getting shut down all the time
|
nah it's cause they're black

boy-girl duo from Germany ? guess i don't have any other choice |
Understanding wasn't a bad release
let me know if you can't find it |
I just snagged it of some blog a minute or two ago.
**** but Music Has The Right to Children is a fun release. I'm about to start taking a look at more IDM / glitch, i've always had this closet repulsion |
An exclusive preview of the Stridsmodell full-length, to be announced
http://www.mediafire.com/?nzkdtutwcnw Stridsmodell - Blade Farter |
