but to them it must be normal to have joe strummer as a dad...and they were probably mad at him cause he was never there.my dad is never there and im mad at him.and i dont know how to explain this...but they probably werent really impressed by his talent cause it was their dad...you know?they always lived with him and all...

it must be awesome when your dad played in the clash and the mescaleros...I had a dream a while ago about it cause i was listening to the mescaleros before going to bed...Joe was my dad and he forced me to go camping with him cause he wanted to have a conversation with me.So we were talking about politics and music and it was awesome. :upset:

ive heard a story about a festival the mescaleros were playing...and the guys were looking for him backstage...finally they found him near the river, playing guitar with the fans around a camp fire. (it was like a 3 days festival)

Do you guys consider Joe to be the best songwriter of all time? Because I certainly do. The only others that are even close (for me) are Neil Young and Jello Biafra.
