meh they're alright

nothing to write haikus about cannibalism in your high school yearbook about, though

Charizard 07-09-2008 04:10 PM

hahahaha

RouteOne 07-09-2008 04:11 PM
theyre really good, tbh
The vocals are as generic as they come. The other stuff is ok though.

Charizard 07-09-2008 04:13 PM

the vocals sound like as cities burn therefore i like them

Pete 07-12-2008 03:30 AM

i'm listening to "as the roots undo"; and this album, despite how highly regarded, was never overrated in the least

its fcking fantastic

DBlitz 07-14-2008 04:46 AM

I got Heat Death of the Universe and Some Blood, both rule I think I like Heat Death better. Gonna get Innominate next

Transient 07-14-2008 06:26 AM

Heat Death > Innominate > Some Blood for me atm but I haven't listened to Some Blood enough.

Tyr 07-14-2008 06:31 AM

It's the same for me.

Doop 09-24-2008 02:15 PM

The new la quiete 7" is going to be the best release of 08.

hismajestythepope 09-24-2008 02:16 PM

itll be good, but not the best of 08

Doop 09-24-2008 02:18 PM

i can't even think of anything else released/being released this year. the new suis la lune and june paik 10"s will probably be pretty good.

hismajestythepope 09-24-2008 02:21 PM

um death magnetic?

but in all seriousness the new underoath is probably my favorite album of this past year

followed by the new september 22nd

Txus 09-24-2008 03:13 PM

New La Quiete will definitely rule.

hismajestythepope 09-24-2008 05:28 PM
New La Quiete will definitely rule.
haven't listened to them, what would you recommend?

also been listening to lots of emo/screamo lately, and feel like making a list;

Kidcrash
Orchid
Takaru
Joshua Fit For Battle
Majority Rule
Mesa Verde
Saetia

all rule imo

and I'm planning on getting

City of Caterpillar, IWSMOFFY, Funeral Diner, Neil Perry, Love Like Electrocution, Sed Non Saetia, whatever La Quiete album you guys rec and probably more.

SnackaryBinx 09-29-2008 06:28 AM

everyone should check out Song of Zarathustra. It's a mix of emo and post-hardcore with some pretty good keyboards.

Txus 09-29-2008 01:24 PM
haven't listened to them, what would you recommend?
Start with La fine non è la fine but really, get anything you can get ahold of. It's all good.

Tyr 10-01-2008 01:42 PM
