That sucks, because that's a really good album. It kind of reminds me of Black Murder at certain points. |
No one ever listens to stuff to be "kvlt". That is probably the stupidest thing Ive ever read regarding black metal.
Yeah, I know no one says "kvlt", and I know no one goes around saying "if I listen to LLN, I will officially be kvlt". What I mean is a bunch of kids think they're black metal experts or something to that nature because they listen to it. |
hbp is not even close to Cravinov :p
Cravinov might know a lot more and they have completely different tastes, but they do things for similar reasons a lot of the time... |
Yeah but Cravinov would actually tell people they don't know anything about black metal in addition to him acting like he did.
|
Typically telling someone they don't know about something implies that you do.
|

lol, that might work on the review site fags cause uh... they actually don't know anything. but in the forums, he'll just get shot down every time. :thumb: |
Yeah but he would tell that to like Coke just because he would say something sucked.
Anyways Astrofaes rules, not as good as Drudkh but I like them more than Hate Forest. |

Yeah, he's gone :upset:

rattlehead42147, you just made my day. |
I don't even think I've seen cravinov before.
|
review site tool.
listened to torgeist's time of sabbath today. pretty good but the drum sound was too high in the mix and a bit intruding, sort of like four seasons to a depression in that way. |
Is Four Seasons to a Depression worth a listen? I pretty much only wanna hear it for the album art heh.

If it wasn't for the odd mixing and the random crackling on my copy, I think I would like it a lot more... It's a solid LLN release though. Bloody Tears and Flame of Hate are really good. |

hahaha you'd be suprised... |

Truth be told. Anyway, I've been digging Ashes Against the Grain lately. I know no one around here really considers Agalloch to be BM, but that's a good album with a lot of BM influence. |
That album has nothing BM about it man. The older stuff does though, to an extent.
|

Nevertheless, that's a solid album. The first two songs are the best. The drums could sound better though. |
The first couple of tracks really strike me as having a lot of BM influence, but I guess it's just me.
I still have yet to check out the older albums. I love the dude's vocals. |
The Mantle is best.

The Mantle's a better album than that one.
I love the dude's vocals.
Really? I hated them when I first heard it. Sounded too whiny. Then again, I'm kinda picky with vocals. |
The Mantle is one of the greatest albums ever composed. EVER

Let me say it again, Agalloch make average and highly pretentious music.
|
Ashes Against the Grain is incredibly post-rocky with not even a trace of black metal in it.
It's incredibly pretentious, but it's not average. |
