I've been Digging Immortal, Mayhem, Darkthrone, and Emperor lately. All yous blacking metal gice should reccomend me black more bands that I might like.

The reason I was put off by Burzum for a long time was Filosofem. It's not a very good album after the first 3 songs...

And how could you be put off by Burzum/Aske? It seems like the most digestable out of all of them.

Because the I found the vocals to be completely unlistenable. Then I listened to Hvis Lyset Tar Oss, and the rest of the music was good enough to make up for it.

hmm.

I was pretty unaware of metal music in general when I first tried out Burzum though. I really like Burzum/Aske. I don't see a problem with the vocals at all. It just seems like Varg's trying to scream as loud as humanly possible.
