John Weise is really good, Soft Punk is an excellent album.
|
Maybe I'm biased about Wolf Eyes, they were the first noise act I got into. Their collaboration with Black Dice, Chimes in Black Water Vol. 2, is ****ing awesoooome and was my first noise album I found myself actually listening to.
Check out this: http://www.myspace.com/brainlesion Local harsh noise. |
I went to a noise festival last weekend.
Some of my favorites: Drunkdriver - http://www.myspace.com/drunkdriverusa The Unholy Two - http://www.myspace.com/theunholytwosucks Twin Stumps - http://www.myspace.com/twinstumps The New Flesh - http://www.myspace.com/thenewflesh |
I enjoy me some noise from time to time, but a whole festival.
I think my head would explode. |
It was put on by two of my friends from the radio station I work at, so I wanted to come and support them.
Here's a vid of my favorite band of the night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_oLKeTPD04 |

don't really know any of these guys except NIN, Ministry and Fear Factory (if they count)
|
Wouldn't count Fear Factory. Ministry and NIN are legit though, even if they're not genuine industrial
|
ministry owns
|
I enjoy Land of Rape and Honey, which should I check out next?
|
they are all good they go in a heavier direction with rio grande blood
heres a link to all the albums http://neueurform.wordpress.com/2008/11/06/ministry-special/ |
get The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste next, then Psalm 69 and Filth Pig
|
then the last sucker
|
get The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste next, then Psalm 69 and Filth Pig
this actually kinda like what I had in mind
Except instead of Filth Pig I wanted to check Twitch out of curiosity |
The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste is like The Land of Rape and Honey pt. 2 for me, somehow
Thieves is such an awesome opening track |
psalm 69 is classic
|
All of Ministry is pretty good except for With Sympathy.
Twitch isn't bad, but it's not particularly metal. It's just aggressive industrial music. |
I've never been particularly sold on metal anyway.
|

wow, Brethren was incredible. That's exactly how I love Power Electronics music, very very dark and deep stuff my friend :D And I'm glad you guys are like Zoät, been listening to them more and more lately while working and it's great music to do that. Any of you guys into Halo Manash or Herbst9 ? |
yeah every brethren track i've heard owns, some of his stuff i've found on various compilations is esp. tight as ****. glad you liked, i'll check these artists you've been recommending soon enough
Some new stuff i've got - Flesh Field - Strain Genesis P-orridge & Psychic TV - Trip Reset Numb - Blood Meridian I should really check out Coil. |
Where can I find this Brethren band you guys are talking about?
And Coil is really ****ing cool, I've only heard the black light district album but i really like it |
