It's okay. It's really a pretty melodic solo because I'm not into flash and chops and stuff. I'm not dissatisfied with it, I just don't solo often, haha.

I don't like soloing, either. I was forced to do it a few too many times on the last album, but I'm not displeased with what I did. I just don't really like doing it.

Well, not that I don't like doing it, I just generally don't like soloing and solos.

I know some people who swear by it. It's Windows only, though, atm, so I haven't had an opportunity to try it out (running a Mac). Supposedly it's much, much faster, but I dunno. I never really thought FF was slow.

Ok, winamp has a pop up in the corner every time a new track comes on which, with this new firefox thing, is very annoying as I can only skip one song at a time without clicking to fullscreen winamp

Any ideas?

And i just like the sleep styling of chrome, haven't tried it yet... instead I got a chrome skin for ff - sorted.

I rarely do it. I write fairly complex basslines to our stuff, but they are subtle and hang in the background. Some of our stuff, I'm the driving force (ie a walking a bassline), but I don't really go with the up-front lead style like, say, Justin Chancellor of Tool or Chris Wofehbslxsdrfesfholme from Muse.

Yeah, it's good to strike a balance.

I'm really looking forward to getting the final mixes of this album that's in progress at the moment, I get some tasty bass spots in it, one solo that I'm itching to hear the final product of, but yeah the tone in general sounds great in the control room and I hope it stays that nice in the end *fingers crossed*.
