I was just thinking about that band! They're awesome, probably.

Oh, and I might as well participate in this horrible spam thread once again, even though I feel bad about it and nobody actually reads each other's lists.

Sept. 2004: Megadeth- Rust in Peace
July 2004: Coheed and Cambria- In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
June 2004: Iron Maiden- Powerslave
April 2004: Iron Maiden- Piece of Mind
November 2003: The Mars Volta- De-Loused in the Comatorium

All right, so maybe I don't buy a lot of cds, but that's because I like to absorb them over the course of a month or so, then go back and re-discover the albums I put on the back burner. Also, I don't get all the albums through buying them myself, some of them are gifts.

Iai 09-08-2004 04:58 PM

Wow....only 5 since November? All the ones I listed were last week....

Hate Cleanses 09-08-2004 05:33 PM

The Bad Plus - These Are The Vistas (its a jazz album)
Mars Volta - De-Loused
At The Drive-In - In/Casino/Out
Muse - Absolution

yeah i cant remember a 5th one. but im getting a pile of them for my birth soon.

Yay! Props for me! My next purchases will be Radiohead, though... OK Computer had to be replaced from the massive wear on it. The Bends and Kid A are next.

Widey: The Polaris album is neat and all sorts of nostalgic. They didn't do all of the music for the show but they did a lot and even if you were a casual watcher of the show, half of the album should sound familiar. By your track record, though, you probably won't get the album until 20x6.....

Zmev 09-09-2004 12:30 AM

Ween - Chocolate and Cheese
Kyuss - Blues for the Red Sun
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
Ween - Pure Guava
Velvet Undergound - Velvet Underground and Nico

Props....anyone?....

Tangy zizzle 09-09-2004 12:43 AM

Prince Buster - Fabulous
V/A - No Spitting
V/A - One Step Beyond
Dead Kennedys - Frankenchrist

Spectrum 09-09-2004 08:35 AM

In backwards chronological order:

Radiohead - The Bends
Jamie Cullum - twentysomething (for my mom, but I love this CD)
Radiohead - OK Computer
Dave Matthews Band - Listener Supported
Coldplay - Live 2003

I only got turned on to Radiohead recently, but after "OK Computer", I needed more. And I just realized something. I seem to like British artists (3/4) and Jazz-influenced artists (2/4) the most.
That's all that I bought this summer.
