I'd like to think he did, at least to a degree, though I doubt he was Christian.
i dont think he was anti christ..but i dont belive you go to heaven cos of your belifs, its what you do on earth.and if thats the case joe is in heaven

TheNowhereman42 02-22-2005 11:18 PM

he probably believed in some obscure eastern religion, knowing him

Coma_Girl 02-22-2005 11:23 PM
i dont think he was anti christ..but i dont belive you go to heaven cos of your belifs, its what you do on earth.and if thats the case joe is in heaven
i'm always wondering stupid things like...what is death like.it makes me sick to know we all have to die someday and that joe died so young...he could have written a lot of great songs.maybe he writes songs in heaven or something.huh whatever

or when i have a decision to take "what would joe do in this situation"

Coma_Girl 02-22-2005 11:25 PM
he probably believed in some obscure eastern religion, knowing him
i think he believed in nothing really.kinda like me.i don't believe in any religion, but i know there's something somewhere and i have to call it god cause i dont know what it is..but it's not the bible one.he had his own god.

TheNowhereman42 02-22-2005 11:25 PM

I for one think death is great.

Even with death so few people live life to the fullest, imagine how little would get done if we didn't have it.

I find WWBMD? usually works

CombatRock 02-22-2005 11:26 PM

joes my god

TheNowhereman42 02-22-2005 11:29 PM

then wouldn't having a Bob Marley icon be worshipping a false idol?

CombatRock 02-22-2005 11:29 PM

re say that? that made no sense to me

TheNowhereman42 02-22-2005 11:31 PM

becuase...its...not a Joe Strummer icon?

Coma_Girl 02-22-2005 11:32 PM

id say "joe is my god too"
but i think he wouldnt like that at all

TheNowhereman42 02-22-2005 11:36 PM

of course that statement shows a high level of worship and idolatry anyway, so he probably wouldn't like that....or this :amaze:

Coma_Girl 02-22-2005 11:39 PM
of course that statement shows a high level of worship and idolatry anyway, so he probably wouldn't like that....or this :amaze:

When are the Clash comin out with a new album?
I hate you for coming in my thread and posting that.

I know who you are. :amaze:

CombatRock 02-23-2005 03:15 PM

werent the clash talkigna bout touring again, before joe died

SlappedByTheClash 02-23-2005 03:21 PM

They wanted to at least do a reunion show, but Joe wasn't allowing it.

Because unlike The Sex Pistols, he still had a bit of integrity.

I would've paid mega bucks to see that show though, as I am shameless.

CombatRock 02-23-2005 03:25 PM

i would give anythign to see them, even if there old and fat and bald
(mick jones)

SlappedByTheClash 02-23-2005 03:26 PM

WHich reminds me, have you seen Steve Jones lately?

He's all fat and weird. It upset me for some reason.

He was the only Pistol I liked as a person.

Coma_Girl 02-23-2005 04:00 PM

they dont even mention the album-that-must-not-be-named on the dvd. i never noticed before.

i'm glad the clash never reformed...and when they thought about it for the RnRHF, Joe died...so it's really a sign that they should never reform...NEVER.

guns_of_brixton 02-23-2005 04:08 PM

after the-album-that-must-must-not-be-named, they knew better than to reform. I bet Bernie tried to get them to at some point though.

guns_of_brixton 02-23-2005 04:10 PM
Can I join!!!????
If your heart desires.... on the other hand, you were the joke account, so you only get a junior membership.

Coma_Girl 02-23-2005 04:14 PM

well...they resisted to millions of dollars offers.
they deserve respect just for that.

guns_of_brixton 02-23-2005 05:00 PM

Paul said he would only do it if his family was starving.

Coma_Girl 02-23-2005 05:25 PM

i know, but his family is not starving.

and joe id dead...they would never reform without joe...huh? :upset:

guns_of_brixton 02-23-2005 05:42 PM
i know, but his family is not starving.

I think I said it earlier, but if they reformed and called themselves the Clash, I would be dissapointed. But if they did like a tribut to Joe, that would be cool.

Oh, and I found and Topper was off drugs.

Coma_Girl 02-23-2005 05:51 PM

he sold his drum set on ebay a while ago...the one he played when he heard about joe's death.

i know you said it earlier.but i just hope they'll never get that stupid idea.

whowritesyourrules 02-23-2005 05:56 PM

too vague. more detail.
its alright

guns_of_brixton 02-23-2005 05:59 PM

Coma_Girl 02-23-2005 08:55 PM
I never knew that. Do you know how much he got for it?
i have no idea.he tried to sell it a couple of time but apparently no one wanted it..maybe this time it worked

TheNowhereman42 02-23-2005 08:58 PM
Can I join!!!????
CombatRock 02-23-2005 09:04 PM

CombatRock 02-23-2005 09:30 PM

mine would be a painting off the london calling cover

TheNowhereman42 02-23-2005 09:37 PM

I have the origional pressing London Calling downstairs framed.

...b'itches!

found it in my grandma's attic, my mom bought it long long ago, muahahahaha!

CombatRock 02-23-2005 09:39 PM

wait, whats the orginal pressing of london calling, do youmean the album on viynl

TheNowhereman42 02-23-2005 09:40 PM

I mean like the origional pressing...uhhhh....can someone else explain? I'm really too lazy, and I can't think of how to explain it

TheNowhereman42 02-23-2005 09:43 PM

like, when a record is put out...they print a certain amount of them, and then after they all sell out, they print more. I have one from the first batch printed, although its not exactly in the best condition...
