Ugh, listening to A Thousand Suns. It's just so generic and bad, and these lyrics >:O

what genre are they
Another Green World is literally an inflection point in Eno's career, and I think that's why it's interesting. It adds an interesting element to his original Bowie-esque sound (e.g. the keyboard line behind the chorus in St. Elmo's Fire) and features some of his best compositions (e.g. The Big Ship, which I can listen on repeat for a long time). Discreet Music is probably my favorite ambient release of his I've heard, though I also quite like the stuff with Fripp as well.
Yeah, the fact it is a transitional album is probably why I like it so much.
As an aside: Meatplow, where did you find that Ilsa picture in your avatar?
it's from the poster to Ilsa - The Tigress Of Siberia
that was p sweet. any of you guys here dig Murcof?
I have Martes/Utopia but haven't listened though |
http://www.mediafire.com/?1x3cbjvk34hb6jc
Guys, prease checking this out, it's a really good friend of mine's dark ambient/noise project, and it's REALLY fucking good.
i'll listen to this since nobody else will |
what genre are they
Nooooooooo, Linkin Park is a cancer in mainstream rock rotting away the foundation of music with reverberated crap. |

MHTRTC is so fucking good, seriously |
the second one is Weezer, its the eponymous debut by Weezer
and yeah MHTRTC makes me feel so edgy and mellow |
wait that one didn't load for me the first time :p
what is the third one |
SYstem of a down, its the eponymous debut by System of a Down
very eclectic nu-metal |
is that the one with Sugar on it
everytime I hear that I feel a little crazy for the late 90's/early 2000's |
yeah
everytime I hear that I feel a little crazy for the late 90's/early 2000's
i have this problem too, i got addicted to it for a moment there and loaded up on nu-metal nostalgia |
problem is all the kids at school were into that and it killed it for me
never really got into their albums other than Toxicity |
i worship the whole discography as some of the best rock releases in decades
|
Christ & The Pale Queens Mighty and Sorrow and Earth Covers Earth have emerged as two of my favourite C93 releases
hanging out for the new Foetus which should be released in the next month or two |
