Fuck yeah, dude. Love that band, but I haven't even heard that much by them.

the2stranger 05-11-2007 02:00 PM

El mundo Frio is my favorite.
But the others I have are also great.
Llenandose De Gusanos is probably oneof the most scary things I've hear din my life.
Paso Inferior is also ace and Se Hache Por Los Suenos Assesinos.
Man, I can't get enough of these weird japanese guys.

Shattered_Future 05-11-2007 03:44 PM

I have some Corrupted...never had time to listen to it. Maybe I should remedy that problem.

RetiredAt21 05-11-2007 03:48 PM

Could someone upload a whole Corrupted album? I would really appreciate it.

why not just buy it ?

Has anybody seen Boris or Isis live? They are playing in London in July and I'm debating whether to go or not.

I love both bands in moderation, but I'm a bit worried Isis will attract an audience full of wankers seeing as they're headlining. I'll probs go anyway, depends how I'm doing for money.

ATM 05-11-2007 05:41 PM

I'd definantly go. Do Isis have annoying fans or something?

Kyle 05-11-2007 06:04 PM

Oh I dunno really, I just hate shows where the whole fanbase is full or obnoxious 'metalheads' who don't allow any room for people to stand close to the band and not got involved in their testosterone fuelled shoving games. I know to expect a bit of pushing and stuff going to a gig like that, but I'd like to be able to at least concentrate on the gig and not sacrifice too much position.

I'm probably the least metal person in the world, by the way.

Nostalgia 05-11-2007 06:10 PM

Isis have really calm shows. It was really tame when I saw them with Jesu.

RetiredAt21 05-11-2007 06:21 PM

Isis is pretty good.

I'd imagine people moshing harder to something like Boris.

this

when i saw them, there were a bunch of metalheads but they were okay. They just headbanged during the 'heavy' parts. I did this too :)

I saw Boris in Birmingham. Very loud/noisy, but great. They played most of their uptempo stuff.

Hardhat 05-11-2007 10:17 PM

Just read this and freaked out:

Katatonia and Swallow The Sun touring the US...
Could someone upload a whole Corrupted album? I would really appreciate it.
Sure.
Do you already have anything by them?
why not just buy it ?
Because it's very difficult to find anything by them.
They're on a Japanese label and a lot of their releases are limited/out of print.
I'm happy to have two original CDs by them.

Kyle 05-12-2007 04:01 AM

Ok sounds good about the Boris/Isis shows guys, I'll probably go.

the2stranger 05-12-2007 04:09 AM

Damn.
I saw last week that Nadjawill be touring Europe.
And of course they will tour the Netherlands, but then I'm still in Norway.
And they won't tour in Norway.:mad:

Oh well, I'm hapy to be here anyway.

ANyone like Dolorian?
Pretty twisted, sickly and somewhat psychedelic/bad trip doom metal/black metal.

Iron Bars 05-12-2007 11:00 AM

I just looked up Bloody Panda on MA and saw they had released an album last month. Did any of you guys hear is already?

Concubine 05-12-2007 11:23 AM

the same Bloody Panda who released a split with Kayo Dot? interesting

ive been listening to Esoteric a lot. I normally can't stand funeral doom because well, it's boring. But i find that when im in the right mood, its kinda cool =D

Iron Bars 05-12-2007 11:55 AM

Yep that would be the one. One of the tracks was on their myspace for download a few months ago. I'm looking forward to listening to the rest of the album.

ATM 05-12-2007 12:10 PM

I'm enjoying FD quite a bit lately.

the2stranger 05-12-2007 12:33 PM

I'm enjoying funeral doom as always.
But that won't bea surprise for anyone. :p

Talking of Esoteric, I'm looking forward to their new album. :D
Hope it will be even more twisted then Subconcious Disollution..

Nepenthe 05-12-2007 03:44 PM

You don't joke around about suicide in the doom metal thread.

RetiredAt21 05-12-2007 03:50 PM

Esoteric is great.

the2stranger 05-12-2007 03:52 PM

^
You know it.
Damn, but I really wonder about the new album, they been saying there will be a new album for a long time already.
I need new Esoteric.

Dimmu Burger 05-12-2007 06:59 PM

I got the new November's Doom cd recently and I really enjoy it. I see myself getting more into this genre.

the2stranger 05-12-2007 10:05 PM

November's Doom are pretty good indeed.
I really enjoy them.
Toobad Ihadto miss them when they were playing.
Or well, I saw the opening bands (Saturnus and Agalloch), but had to leave to get my last train back home.

pate 05-12-2007 10:38 PM

ND is amazing, as is Saturnus. I saw both a few weeks ago.
