JESUS CHRIST EXPLODES?!

Holy damn, I'll call the papers!

"It will say Howard Moon, colon, explorer."
"... Colon explorer?"

Convectuoso 07-22-2009 09:35 PM

Even being their rival, Australians as a whole are much funnier/cooler than us. And their slang is off the hizzay.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 06:34 AM

Aww, yoo wunna chup bru?

HAHAHAHAHAA ME SO FUNNY!!!!!!!!

I love the really white kiwi's who sound more islander than legit mauris.

Catfish BROnes 07-23-2009 06:57 AM

What the **** are you talking about?

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 07:17 AM

Accents. And colloquialisms. ****.

Catfish BROnes 07-23-2009 07:28 AM

Oh, alright then. Carry on.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 07:35 AM

No one else is here.

FunkMetalBass 07-23-2009 09:54 AM

I'm here.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 09:58 AM

You don't get Australian and Kiwi relations though.

:(

Having said that, for no apparent reason; guess which is me!

Guess, really, do it.

FunkMetalBass 07-23-2009 10:02 AM

New Blackberry Curve 8330. Yay. Way better than that POS old thing I had.

gaslight 07-23-2009 10:02 AM

Second from the right in both.

I can't tell. All you Aussies look the same. :p

Just kidding. You're a bass player - you're obviously the one in the back with the glasses and dumb hair.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 10:05 AM

Gaslight you diabolic...

Quite. Just in case the lanky retard over-tired look didn't give it away:

I wear a pick with a bass clef on it, do I fail life yet?

Someone asked me what I did in the band once. I said I stood in the corner and tried not to smile.
Someone asked me what I did in the band once. I said I stood in the corner and tried not to smile.
When people ask me what I do in the band, I say that I'm the manager, because it's cooler than being the bassist.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 10:09 AM

And I have girl lips. Damn.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 10:10 AM
When people ask me what I do in the band, I say that I'm the manager, because it's cooler than being the bassist.
Quoted for truth.

At least I'm second in line for groupie rooties.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 10:11 AM

And I stole those sunglasses from a newsagency I used to work at. I suck so bad :(

I broke my regular glasses at work and had to wear them, I don't like them very much because they offer sub-standard UV protection and in the Australian temperate climate I like to protect my eyes and skin.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 10:12 AM

And I don't even know if I'm being serious any more. And if I don't know, all hope is lost.

I can tell skin care is important to you.

I've never met a person that is both whiter than me and doesn't live in Sweden/isn't albino.

gaslight 07-23-2009 10:17 AM

I'm pretty white.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 10:18 AM

Pale is the new tan. I have lots of freckles and Australia is the number 1 skin cancer capital of the world. See?
Pale is the new tan. I have lots of freckles and Australia is the number 1 skin cancer capital of the world. See?
Yes, but Vitamin K is good for you, sir.

If you wear mild sunscreen to protect from the UV rays, but still go into the sun and tan, you'll be just fine.

gaslight 07-23-2009 10:21 AM

Well, tan is skin damage and anyone who pursues it for "beauty" is an idiot. Never been any more complicated than that to me. People who go to tanning salons shouldn't be allowed to vote.

I think you're thinking of Vitamin D.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 10:24 AM

If by 'K' you mean 'D', then sure.

I get plenty of sun, I just don't stay out long enough to burn.

I'm probably less pale IRL than in photos, especially those middle two, wow.

Doctor says I'm not anemic nor do I have Vit D deficiency so I'm fine.

Efrim 07-23-2009 10:25 AM

No, he was advocating the use of ketamine.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 10:28 AM

Now, I'm gonna go out on a limb here.. but for me at least, white people should look white.

vs.

Like I said, might just be me.

An animal tranquilliser?

You've changed, Jesse.

gaslight 07-23-2009 10:30 AM

Can say one thing about the fake tan chicks, it's the easiest way to spot a slut short of a blacklight.
No, he was advocating the use of ketamine.
This.

Vitamin D is good for you as well.

And Gaslight, a certain degree of "tanning" (sun exposure, would be more accurate) is healthy for you. Your body really needs the sun to help it produce vitamin D efficiently. Plus, you're helping to build up your resistance to harmful UV rays.

Stay away from these kids Joe.

I'm actually genuinely interested as to whether it's the same OS as it is here. I'm gonna give a big "yes" as my response, Eddie.

If you were referring to FMB, I retract my statement in context only.

Well nah dah. We're more outlining the idea that lying in the sun for hours, or in a UV bed for cosmetic purposes is not only a fundamentally flawed concept, but also kinda skanky.

Sun exposure and tanning and world's apart, tanning is evidence of skin damage which makes the whole thing a bit of a double edged sword.

I'm not convinced about the second point though, I don't think the skin is capable of developing much resistance to UV rays is it, I mean, it's always going to be potentially harmful radiation no matter how many times you've been exposed to it.

funkyhoney 07-23-2009 10:43 AM

Not if you get your car windows tinted...

I've been up for 16 hours, that's 9 too many as far as I'm concerned. I'm going to bed.

Later homies.

If you're really pale and you sit in the sun for a while, you burn.

If you're tan and you sit in the sun for a while, you don't burn as much.

gaslight 07-23-2009 10:46 AM

Haha.

I love how many ads I see that advertise "DARKEST LEGAL TINT".

It just sounds like it has to be sexual when you see it on a yellow sign with red lettering and no other information.

Amount of sunburn =/= radiation exposure.

That's like saying because I got burnt in the sun after an hour I'm worse off than a black guy who didn't get visibly burned after six hours.

gaslight 07-23-2009 10:48 AM
If you're really pale and you sit in the sun for a while, you burn.

Yeah, but the difference is in if you're naturally pale and susceptible to burning more easily, or if your skin naturally contains more melanin and you don't burn as easily.

If you were pale and then you tanned a bit, and don't burn as easily, it's because you've already copped the damage and your skin hasn't recovered in the first place. It's not any better for you in regards to skin cancer, in fact it's much worse.
