Panzerfaust is great, so is Ravishing Grimness, and FOAD sounded good from the samples I heard. If you buy the CD there also a bunch of recommendations for old school metal bands that Fenriz and Nocturno Culto recommend.

I love Panzerfaust too. I prefer it to TH.

It was my first Darkthrone CD and one of my first black metal cds so I'm a bit biased, but I think it is probably my favorite Darkthrone CD.

I own Panzerfaust, Total Death, A Blaze In the Northern Sky, and Goatlord, and have heard the new one all the way through. And who made you the authority on BM? Everyone here owns you in this genre, so for you to be making assumptions about others is an incredibly laughable matter.

I still haven't heard all of FOAD but I would rather listen to NWOBHM than Goatlord.

Honestly, at this point I'd rather listen to anything than Darkthrone period. They disgust me at this point.

You still don't have Transylvanian Hunger or Under A Funeral Moon though, that needs to be fixed.

I've listened to UAFM; it's decent.

My opinion that Darkthrone should cease to exist comes based on the [I]last[/I] few so called "efforts" from them, not on a basis that they have [I]no[/I] good albums.

You still need their best album Transylvanian Hunger.

Under a Funeral Moon was always my favorite.

No it wasn't. Saying it's horrible is a joke. 99% around here with good taste like the album, so it's pretty obvious you're in the bad taste zone here. Don't act like you're some metal expert.

Saying they shouldn't exist is just hilarious. They're one of the few metal bands around now that are making great music and not just rehashing old **** and try to make it sound modern.
