And Limp Bizkit are just ****ing assholes , they let people make a remixs for an entire album because they want more money and cant write without wes , they are just milking their fans for what they get . . . .

Slipknot on the other i would say are not sellouts , their fans wanted a new album full of songs like wait and bleed , cause that was their most popular and they said they did the opposite , and reverted to a more death/black metal sound on iowa . . . .

Ok I lke the fact now that if you like a band you are a trendie! I have notl istened to the radio and do not have access to MTV and do not watch much music. All I get is much more music which all Canadians should know does not play any of the music we are talking about here! I usually find all my music on random file searching or tab sites!

Just because someone likes bands does not mean they are following a trend. I am in support on Linkin_Bizkit. Just because she likes modern music does not make her trendie! I like Linkin Park and I didn't even know that they were popular until this message board was going nuts talking about them being trendie. Who knows maybe Linkin_Bizkit had the cd last christmas when it came out!

Actually, MuchMore Music's retro programs play 80s metal, which I talk about all the time. And a couple of days ago, there was a Behind The Music with Megadeth. I've seen specials on Metallica, Def Leppard, Alcie Cooper, Marilyn Manson, lots of stuff that is discussed here.

And if you're here in Canada, you should be getting Much Music too. Saturday nights = Loud. A program dedicated to heavy music. It's great, eh!

At my school, it's still really uncommon for anybody below year 10 (14/15) to be into rock music. Anybody who listens to rock where I live is instantly an uncool member of an uncool minority. I may be well known throughout the school for being a wrestler, but I still get chants of "Greebo" followed by large groups of infantile children running away, coz let's face it, if you insult someone for the music they listen to, that's all you are Trooper and whom ever else is following the trend onthis little crusade, infantile children! :rolleyes:

Well, the marine biologist trainee isn't entirely true. I don't start my course until next year at uni (If I pass exams this year :lol:). But yes, I am a wrestler, freestyle. I should be British champion, but I came back right off an injury... I beat him real quck at the next comp I mt him at though :D. I have a friend who dos pro wrestling at the k star gym on Saturdays if any1 is interested :lol:
