Meh its really simple to play, and kinda cool. Not to me anymore though, ive known how to play it for about year and a half now, but it's a really popular song with a keyboard part in it. Here is what I have figured out, it sounds fine.
D-A-A-F-E-E-E-E-F-D-A-A-F-E-E-E-E-F-D-A-A-F-E-E-E-E-D-A-A-F-E-E-E-E.
you can play it virtually anywhere on a keyboard, it sounds fine being low though. Same at the end of the song too but I dont know the one part where it scales up, you more "expierenced" piansts should know. I gave up keyboard long time ago for Bass guitar. So, this is the last time im in this forum.

the song is actually in E flat, but that does work.
The scale up is.......
E,F,B,E,F,G,F
keep in mind that all E's, B's, and G's are flat.
good song. have fun with it.

Eb - Bb - Bb - Gb - F - F - F- F - Gb
repeat as many times as you want.
I'm pretty sure that's right.

No I'm pretty positive that it's E B B G F# F# F# F# G. I figured it out a long time ago in about 3 seconds.

But if you're playing with a band, you have to be in key. Biatch.

It was a long while back, when Linkin Park were actually quite good. Having said that, 'Numb' rules over a lot of things, but not Muse.

Have any of you noticed how Numb sounds not dissimilar to Crawling??
If you can be assed, check the chords for numb cos I dunno them, but crawling is
C#m, A, E, B

Hey ppl can i jus say i worked this out by listenin to the song...i thought it started on D but it dusnt. It goes:
Eb Gb F# F F F F F# then it is repeated a few times.
At the end it is the same apart from the last few bars which go:
Eb F# Gb Eb F F# F
I know this is right! Play it along to the song if you dont believe me!

Talk about bumping. In any case it's just constructed out of a minor chord, I don't know why everyone was typing all of these note names.
Eb F# Gb Eb F F# F
Um F# and Gb are the same note.
