Just got my first tattoo done.

http://i49.tinypic.com/2nripg9.jpg

I need light in the dark as I search for the resolution.

On my leg. Can I cover it with plastic wrap to sleep or not? it's still bleeding.

rename thread "worst tattoo" and i'm in

my first was the contour of a guitar on the inside of my lower right arm

uh, your tattooist should've 1) covered it right away, and 2) given you aftercare instructions. was this some kind of "kitchen tattooist" or a real professional?

in general, yes you can keep it covered with plastic for up to 24 hours, but preferable no more than 8-12 hours

I lol at people who feel the need to mock people who just like tattoos.

"It's gonna look like **** when you get older"

Well, you're gonna look like **** anyway when you get old, so who cares if your tattoo will look like **** as well.

i don't really see the appeal because honestly every person i've seen with more than three tattoos on the same limb looks the exact same

I like it.

I'd get a tattoo if i could think of anything i wanted on my body perminantly. I was thinkin about some manga art cos it look pretty cool but it would be a bit arbitary for a tattoo.

TOCO VS TATTOO

TACO PROS:
not permanent
can eat
tasty
can customize them any way you want and then change the later
not eat them and keep as souvenir
cons: none

Go back to the shop and get them to make a few simple modifications, to make this piece really badass:

It's a guy wearing blue jeans running through a field with one of those spiky tails that you see on that one dinosaur. Which I think would look something like this

All this negativity you've generated is not helping you find resolution.

You really should have gotten proper aftercare instructions from your artist. This is malpractice in my opinion. Coming here for aftercare instructions was a bad idea, you have to search through practically-mindless junk to get any sort of help.

If you were to post this in any forum, one with a tattoo based dialog would've been more appropriate. They would have given you better information (If not first telling you that the information you requested is available through many search engines, then saying your artist should have provided it to you with his service)

I like black-ink work, and this has a nice font to it. Your first tattoo has a deeper message than most people's first tattoo. Congratulations, it's somewhat original!

I have the words "Carpe Diem" on my forearms.

There is an enormous amount of information contained in that wiki. Most of your questions and/or concerns will be addressed within it. As well as some new interesting stuff to read up on.

Steve-o is Steve-o. I would expect nothing less. That had to have taken a very long time (and a lot of beers! and whatever else he is/was on!) Very good work though, shading and depth perception is right on.

You're funny. Ciao is an Italian salutation, just so you know. It is used like Aloha (Hawaiian? Not sure if it is a specific dialect/tribal thing...) meaning you can use it for goodbye or hello.

But if you're sincere, apology accepted. E-hug for you :P

I agree! I have also seen a guy who had to weigh over 300 pounds and he was asking my friend who is covered in tattoos why he had to ruin his body like that!?!?!?! Um, I'm looking at the 2 of them with only 1 body looking ruined to me...
