Hey guys, just wondering how artists get added to the database.

A bunch of my favorite hiphop isn't in Sputnik's database:

Society of Invisibles
Reef the Lost Cauze
Viro the Virus
Snowgoons
Lil Wyte
Three Six Mafia (lol good beats are good)

What up? Should I be adding them myself if I like them so much?

three six mafia is there, but they're under three 6 mafia. they're one of my favorite rap groups, no need to apologize for liking them

for the rest, go ahead and add them yourself, if you want more people to hear about them try reviewing them

Elite? I mean, I play poker, smoke, and listen to hip-hop all day.

GOme: You heard the semi-new mixtape he did? It's pretty awesome.

add whatever you want to the database... but i added Reef and Snowgoons myself, so I'm pretty sure they're in there.

Haven't viro the virus, but i'm pretty unimpressed with SOI

The snowgoons are a solid production team, but nothing real groundbreaking.

Reef is definitely the bst rapper in AotP

Hiphop tracks I like tend to have: a) badass beat b) interesting flow and far, far c) lyrics I like.

I can ignore the content of lyrics if the beat and flow are good enough, and SOI has a set of pretty interesting and nonstandard beats, plus the flow stays pretty fresh because it's a supergroup format.

Plus, any rap that talks about hustlin', grindin', or attempting to make paper stack up resonates quite strongly with me b/c of my career (lol internet poker), so I have a soft spot for chamillionaire and paul wall.

Viro does a bunch of **** with the snowgoons -- he was on Starlight on Black Snow and The Limit on the Trojan Horse. I'm pretty sure the goons did the beats on his new album.

From one of his older albums (pretty solid overall album imo)

black snow was probably the best snowgoons. i'll go back and see if he's on there. i'm assuming he's from nyc or philly like most rappers on that joint.

btw, i think most people will agree with you when you say you like the "making stacks of cash" part of your job... ha. most people here are open to every kind of hip-hop for the most part.

unless you're illmitch, he only likes booty rap.

i love how ppl get defensive when you criticize any kind of music here. booty rap? come on, it's like soulja boy and that breed of talentless club rap. that's what's wrong with it, and im sure illmitch doesn't like it.

come on bulldog and heymoney, i'm sure you guys aren't *that* new to theinternet

three six mafia / project pat / lil wyte are solid staples because anything with that kind of beat is amazing for working.

i saw a list recently that added Lil Wyte as one of the best white rappers. idk if it's lulz worthy or not.
