Post what you just got, whether or not it's better than digital, what you wish you could find, etc.
I just got my first table yesterday as a loaner from a good friend: a technics quartz sl-1200mk2. Been listening to:
Thrice - Alchemy Index
Return to Forever - Romantic Warrior (my gf said "wtf is this smooth jazz")
Janelle Monae - Metropolis pt 1
Children's records (ABCs, Winnie the Pooh, etc)
Tbqh, I think I'm really gonna have to get a sub :(... I've been lasting for a long time without one, but I'm definitely not getting enough low end with an analog input. Acoustic stuff/ jazz sounds wonderful, but hip-hop sounds awful.
I'm thinking of buying Waajeed's The War LP, but it's actually two separately released EPs on vinyl bleh. It'll cost like 25-30$ total.

loving it... can't wait to install my sub tonight. another friend had an extra laying around. it's like christmas.
just listened to Isis' Wavering Radiant earlier today. it seems like the lack of a low end is pretty noticeable in metal too.

I have a Denon DP-7F turntable and a grado cartridge. It used to be my dad's but he doesn't use it anymore. It's one of the ones that lets you rip to computer. If any of you belong to the jazz tracker vibes.fm they have a lot of good info over there. Mostly I buy old shi but I did get the newest Meat Puppets record.

that's a really purty record. i have such a boner for colored and marbled vinyl... and a mega boner for picture records.
I've only got dubstep at the moment but I am planning to get some hip hop on vinyl. Not sure what turntable it is but it's an older Technics.
Six Foot Revolver

Been playing lots of Hip hop 12" recently, as well as the Resident's latest, the Minutemen's last and the Tommy Soundtrack

Does having a sub really make a mega difference for fleshing out the sound of a hip-hop vinyl? Got mine yesterday, but didn't have a proper Y cable to connect it.
How good are the speakers you're using?
I run my turntables (sony copies of technics) through my stereo, which is decent enough bass wise.
Got a fair bit of vinyl, 50 cent, Minor Threat, Joy Division, bunch of trance from the person i got the dcks form, Benga, loads of classic rock style stuff from my parents, some other stuff i can't remember
