Always thought it was ****ing hilarious. Shame it caused mass outrage with that Paedogeddon episode. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, show is pretty epic. Had a way of escaping me with its british quirks and blink and you'll miss it satire, it would appear Chris Morris doesn't like making it easy for the viewer to instantly come to terms with what he is doing in anything he does.

The drugs episode is probably my favourite.

I don't know what this is but explain what it has to do with politics, news and world issues or I'll close it.

It's a satirical comedy (British) that caused uproar in the media because it crossed the boundaries...

Good enuff?

Well, I hate British comedy, but I suppose. You might want to link to a news article though.

It's not a drug, it's a drink.

Anyway, that's good news, iskandar, because we all hate american comedy (e&oe)

Why is it a shame? That was the point.

If anyone's interested, Chris Morris is a lapsed scientist and recently published a semi-serious piece based on a visit to CERN:

He hasn't really worked again tbh, so I see it as a great loss to comedy, because the dude is fuggin 'ilarious...

I mean, yeah he is currently making a film which could be absolute hysteria and be great but...he is a better comedian than he is a scientist. But both work to his advantage.

He made Nathan Barley a couple of years ago, and he was in the first two series of the IT Crowd. He's working on a satire about terrorists at the moment, as far as I know.

I knew he was in IT crowd, that was a cool little ditty.

Other than that, I knew very little of his doings...

Hopefully working on something that is Splat Out Immense atm.

Are you kidding? He's done loads of stuff, he's been pretty consistently busy since. Not all of it acting, but lots of writing and production too i think.

Anyone catch Jaaam?

Probably the most surreal offering yet from Morris.

The sketch where the doctor p155es himself during a consultation is perhaps one of the most memorable. Very different camera work in it.

The Day to Day was genius.
