this song turns me on because it reminds me of 7th grade

its like a first blowjob in terms of exposure to post hardcore

in this house of cards
we're all holding hearts and spades
ONE BREATH
ONE STEP
COULD KNOCK IT ALL DOWN

Entire album still sounds incredibly good to me.

that part and the how long is the night part are the best thursday moments

in all honesty i think this could be the best song they ever wrote, when listening to thursday now i find it hard to get into their stuff as much as i used to be but this song always has me grooving hard

Haven't listened in forever, but used to be really into them around the time that War All the Time came out.

First Thursday song I heard and they became my favorite band ever. Like, they're not my favorite right now, but for how much I liked them when I did, I don't think I've ever liked a band so much. This was in middle school of course, and I felt awesome because it was when Waiting came out and nobody had heard of them, so I was that guy.

I ended up seeing Thursday on one of their tours supporting Full Collapse, and they were coheadlining with a little band called Thrice, who had just released That Artist In The Ambulance. So they expose me to Thrice as well, which is awesome.

Also that song is about Geoff being at his grandmas house or something which I think is funny. Prime post hardcore material.
